    So my choices are buy the dingle thingy get it fitted or link to my phone using BT with Google directions.

    I think I'll investigate what level of coverage the dongle SIM has.

    I also quite like speed alerts to remind me where there are accident blackspots like tom tom provides.

    I didn't get the figures no all he said was it was way out so I'm going to try all the suggestions above and see how we get on afterwards.

    Good luck mate. If you take to a zorst specialist they've seen this stuff.

    Your car looks good underneath don't let some previous owner ruin it 4 u

    I'd ask someone like Colin Banks. My Zed still has 2 lines to cats as I didn't de cat. It's surely also about a cat to deal with the zorst fumes in the time it comes out not just the size of a cat. It's a catalyst filter ?

    Managed to get Zebedee in for his service and only advisory fix today. Whilst he's in he's getting new banana arms and I get a Fiesta

    The only time mine has ever failed is when the headlights were pointing too low...

     

    I find MOT's baffling, especially advisories. I had one last time stating my numberplates were starting to delaminate. This time, absolutely nothing and no change to them?

    So prob is that MOT is the day it passes. Only those who know the cars will pass advisories going yep that's safe.

    Yes usually get service just before then MOT now at specialists.

    This year had to go local MOT first but they do all sports cars for Redline 38 quid and free screen wash.

    4 years on and all MOT s passed I think I owe him some attention.

     

     

     

    4 in a row? That's brilliant. As opposed to £750 a time...

     

    I'm going for 2 in a row tomorrow. Fingers, toes - all crossed. Got to get to Huddersfield for 8am. Mind you, might not make it out the drive if it snows..

    So Zebedee had his MOT only and fortunately passed pre service etc and bush. Though I'm going for banana arms full replacements if needed this time.

     

    To be blighted by snow. Yorkshire Hill snow last week. I'm hoping Zed weather is better next week to take him on for the work he deserves.

    I totally get why you'd want to change and be honest now this is not the first time you've thought about changing is it?! :scare::lol:

     

    Honestly don't think the Fords the way to go but that's up to you. I guess at least you'll get a free baseball cap and Burberry jacket though if you did get the Ford. ;)

     

    I like Brillos suggestion of two cars (one for the commute & one for weekend fun) but I understand not everyone can afford to run two cars, I know I can't. Tbh for anyone to suggest cars sensibly for you then we'd need to know budget, how many seats you want, performance expectations, preferred drivetrain etc.

    I hear they are good the Ford's. Practical etc it's just not talking about similar character to me. Like a member of the family with a dodgy trait but you love them anyway.
