  1. in my 350z, and probably in yours too, is what seems to be (according to the manual) a hands free mobile phone point. Mine is a fixed socket (mobile shaped) and there is also a loose thingy also mobile shaped that i cant fathom out what its for ? Can anyone help me with this, and/or tell me if this designed for a certain type of mobile ?? Puzzled Don. (ps im over 50 so assume I about 6 when talking technology)
  2. Well its very decent of some of you blokes to stand aside and spectate/look around etc, rather than insist on hooking up to the dyno doo da. Having just bought my 350z it will be nice to get an idea of how its performing. I does seem a little lumpy to me at lower speed, and there is a flat spot in 5th/6th. So Im looking forward to meeting some of you blokes, and getting the car checked out. Shame on the low uptake for bountys idea of a meal afterwards at the pub down the road !! and lastly..............how PEED OFF am I, two days into ownersip, and I picks up a kin trolley ding at tescos this morning right in the rear side panel. having parked there just before the school run, and in the first bay after the mother and monster bays. I have spent the day cursing the endless muppetry yuppie mother brigades in their crossover cruisers, who can hardly manage their offspring let alone a motor vehicle. UGGGHHH,
  3. great thread this. I own a cafe and we serve loads n loads of Police every week, and its amazing how many arrive on duty in unmarked top of the range fast cars. You just dont know when your passing one these days, many are equipped with cameras back and front. Don.
  4. Hi bbk, i know your prob waiting for Mark to come back, but have you any details on the possible christmas meal meet following the Abbey Dyno? thought i saw a thread about it, but cant find it now, its been a long day mate. link maybe ? Don
  5. Hello Mark, I have just bought a 2006 350z GT, and would love you to put the car on your machine and tell me what you think. I think it needs a tune up (if thats the right phrase these days0 it seems a little sluggish at top end. Would you kindly add me to the list. Thanks Don Wyatt.
  6. thanks bbk, oxted is not too far from me. Will take a look at their web site and go from there Don
  7. Okay, call me thick.............THICK, but what is this all about guys, if you happen to be new to the forum, and there are a lot of us by the looks, and if your also not a petrolhead, ex trackside marshall or similar, you probably wont know what a dyno run is. (there is the chance that im simply thick). having read through the posts, I cant see much about where it is, what to expect, how much experience one needs, etc etc. but i am guessing its a real life rolling road test type track thingy ? So come on guys, think about us plebs, and post some general info. I would like to attend if I knew where, etc. Donut Don.

  13. thanks chaps. What about headlamp washers, I see that there is a little square bit in front of the lamps, is this where washers go, or will mine have them anyway and one more question, the little slots in the front bumper, are these amber reflectors ? As youve guessed im getting quite excited about taking delivery of the zed. http://www.s2000-4u.co.uk/nissan-350z-gt-azure-blue-19000-miles-in-in-hampshire-2382136

  18. ah thanks Colin, can you help me further. In like the sound of putting some LEDS in there providing they look classy and not too blingy, if thats possible. the other mod i was thinking about is a nice raunchy exhaust note, I am saying this without even having heard the OEM note with the standard set up, I am guessing it has a little bit of a roar , does it ? Do you know of anyone specialising in 350Zs in Kent by any chance. (without me going thru the traders lists on here) Don
  19. guys, on the 350 front fairing/bumper there are two slots (one iether side) ive noticed that some have white showing, some have nout, and some yellow, whats that all about ? Don.

For anyone wondering what this is all about, Dear Arkwright and his mates, gaffer taped me to my camp bed when I was asleep and pi**ed as a fart. then two young ladies sat on my face, twas quite nice lads I tell thee. Don.
