Cheers guys, well I do have a couple hundred spare but that was going to go on the h Dev stage 1 pack and uprev next month so would rather do that first I think but the AMS do sound good, if I have enough next month I will possibly get them

The pulleys wernt a mod that I'd go out the way to do but thought may aswell do it whilst belt are off but if japspeed ones are no go then so be it, won't be spending around 200 on something that doesn't make to much of a difference. Maybe if a second hand set of ams came up at the right price then yeah I'd do it but for now il leave it I shall see some of you Thursday yeah

Ok so it's a mixed review on wether to get them, where can I find AMS ones? Seems to be America only? If they cost a small fortune then il use the money for a Scorpion You guys carry on with the handbags all advice is taken on board aswell Would be nice to have them but this car isnt going to be a money pit like the last one

Fair enough mate, there goes that idea il be getting the Horsham stage 1 pack at the end of the month which has the spacer in it as you know. Then it will be uprev time was just thinking maybe the pulleys would be worthwhile especially of combined with the rest of the mods.

Morning guys Got some spare cash after ordering the bits that need doing and I was thinking whilst the auxiliary belts are being done is it worthwhile getting a set of lightweight/underdrive pulleys, japspeed sell them at 99 quid, haven't searched to see if anyone else sells them. Alright guys Tried the search function but to no avail, once the beast has had its minor work required il be looking into tuning it a little bit, the horsham development kit looks pretty good and certainly not a bad price Here is said kit http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php ... s_id=25356 Has anyone got one of these on their car? If so how is fitment etc of everything, i know you have to get an uprev map after though, is there a noticeable difference with all that on especially since the limiter is removed from 1st to 3rd gear with the map? Afternoon fellas Just been to Nissan for oil filter, sump washer and a couple of small bits (excellent service by sharik at Croydon by the way) and I asked for some oil aswell, he came out with the 5w30 but it was only semi synthetic so I left it. What oil do you guys use?

Chaps I've seen on some people's cars here a boot divider that sits vertical inbetween the strut brace and floor, where can I source one of these as I would be pretty handy. I imagine Nissan sells them at silly money! Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Arran

Plans for it already are Give it a full detail Get a pin dent out of the drivers door Get the wheels powder coated a light anthracite Replace both belts and do an oil change Then once its checked out and given a clean bill of health il be buying A scorpion exhaust Horsham development stage 1 kit Uprev remap Clear rear and front reflectors Led facelift rear lights, change bulbs in headlights to 6k And putting my private plate on it Job done

Yeah il be there Saturday with it, ive noticed and read about it about the thrust bearing chattering slightly on idle, mine does it a little it's intermittent but goes with the clutch pedal pressed down, it doesn't slip and the pedal is mid way so the clutch is good. Is it normal like every other Z or will work need doing?

Do you think scorpion know by now and have rectified it? I would be buying a horsham stage 1 pack aswell so wil be decatted to then il have to get an uprev after. Hoping those bits altogether make a noticeable difference

Evening all Once I've got myself a 350 the first thing I want to do after it getting a clean bill of health is get an exhaust for a little extra soundtrack the scorpion sounds perfect to me but I'm a little worried about the fitment issues some have reported. What do you guys know about this or can recommend another exhaust with the same sound for around the same price? Cheers Arran

Ok il ask him if it has been using any, it's a private sale yeah. I always use v power in my cars whatever it is so if it hasn't been before it will if I get in. Il get a full check over and compression test done when it's build hopefully all will be well
