Sisters cars due a service, and used genuine parts for her zafira since day one, however sick of stealer prices.

i owned a conv one a while back, was a nice car to drive. head looker etc. With leather was comfy,even if the dash was a bit tacky feel. Still a good car

However when u try to sell it be prepared for a major shock!!

The other thing that annoys me apart from the "chirping" after every button push like you mentioned is when on radio mode I get annoying screensaver, advert for the app radio app & its very bright at night time driving.

Haha not yet, a little disappointed in lack of settings!!

Mines sits a touch out, not flush, but looks good enough.

I had a nightmare trying to hide all the wires, most of them are underneath the heater, and decided to run the ipod lead up past the handbrake and into the cubby hole between the seats.

 

 

I did also try & set them up on the stereo with the controls however that has had no joy either.

 

Is this the bit that says hold for 1 second?

I done this today and had to set them all up again.

When it says hold key for 1 second i had to do it about 3 times and it was for about 5 seconds each time, then eventually did register.

So a) their idea of 1 second is different from mines or its pretty tempremental, did get it working tho.

My adapter was a 29-007-3v (or what it says on the invoice)

Yes u need the 2x leg brackets that came of the bose one.

Are you trying to play music of a usb?

As i know on mines it has a SD card, but u cant play music off it, maybe same problem with usb stick, if it can play usb sticks i would imagine FAT32 would only work

Not got a usb, mines is a appradio thingy so slightly different.

Once u remove the case the brackets should fit

If u have a bose sound system make sure u connect the blue wire!!!!!

Spent about 2 hours puzzled about why everything is working except no sound, plugged the blue wire in nothing happened (there is 2 blue wires, then wola)

I just fitted my new pioneer headunit today,

U need to remove the bracket that comes with the new pioneer and attach the 2x brackets that came off the old bose/nissan one.

Only 3 of the 4 screws from the original bracket will screw into the new headunit

Looks like you have not conected back the wiring behind the dash correctly.

Not plugged in the cd player or the pods up top. Don't see how that would cause a lambasted sensor issue.

Today decided to fit a new aftermarket stereo.

Took dash apart etc, however never got time to putting new one it etc.

So i put the heater bit back in so i could use the car minus dash/cubby hole and pods.

So i went to training tonight, car drove fine on way.

However on the way back the EML came on, car is driving fine and stuff?

Is this a massive co-incidence or is it something to do with me removing and not reconeccting the dash/pods?

As touch wood until now, never seen any lights on at all.

Basically dad will put it in a machine to find fault, however get the feeling he will say, this is because you've been dicking around with a stereo!!

Which i just cant see whats linked.

*update* Mate works with aa just popped past and his machine said Fault - P1147 Heated O2 Sensor 2

He's Cleared the fault for now. is this the front or rear lambda?

This is my 3rd car i've purchased from NI and touch wood never had any issues.

They are generally cheaper than here in scotland.

Pain in the ass thing is having to import your car into the UK, fill in some masssive stupid form.

48k from original clutch seems a bit too good to true imo, i would check into that. There is a guide on checking clutches somewhere on the forum.

Its against the highway code from memory, so technically it could get you points, especially if you're blocking pedestrians access

I remember at my mates old girlfriend, parking was that bad, everyone would park on the pavement and one day after almost getting knocked down (as she was on road) with her wee yin in the pram couldnt get up the pavement , so she went and bought a cheap used buggy (from gumtree) and went up both sides of the street and simple not giving a f**k and made the buggy through all the gaps. Many mirrors were knocked off and scratches on all cars lol.
