  1. Would be a boring world if we all

shared the same tastes but I was aware of the wing in my first post like Paul and I personally think they are awful. Just my opinion though but that isnt worth much.

  2. Tein S Springs will lower it an inch and a quarter, add spacers and bingo. That’s what I did to my mark 2 Nismo . Ark dual  grip exhaust will give you a perfect burble with no drone and are a work of art. Couple of photos of mine after I added some purple chameleon  flip wrap and  some work emotion rims to fuel your thoughts.

Oh hey thanks. Yeah your comming to the one at Beulieu right?

Oooo brands hatch is a stones throw for me :)

Yes. Will be travelling down from Hayward’s Heath. Always a good show at Beaulieu. Brands is still my fav as we get to park trackside with time attack going on all day. Normally a thousand jap cars or more.

  4. Oops. Best to go with Motordyne /  Kintek or known one. You only really get the benefit  if you do the other normal upgrades with it. If you are happy that’s the main thing. Hope it had at least a good gasket so keep an eye for leaks. Did you follow the torque procedure when refitting ? It’s important you do.

I've just installed a plenum spacer which went on nicely, I've then gone to put the strut brace back on and it goes all the way down and I could do the nuts up but it literally sits on top of the plenum and the black plastic cover.  I bought a 5/16" and I thought this would allow the strut brace to go back on but its touching so do i just run without the strut brace?

What plenum spacer do you have ?. Unusual not to be supplied with spacers because it won’t fit without them. You need your strut brace on.

  6. Dave. There are a few things I need to explain to everyone about Ace. Regardless of what it may appear Ace are very organised and on the ball. Mark Wilsmore who manages the events request we supply names and registrations every year without exception. He also gives me a two week prior to  the event deadline to submit them  and is very clear about cars not just turning up on the day. His rules, not mine. I am more than happy for someone to step into my shoes and run this event. I act as REO  to help make the forum an enjoyable place for guys and girls to go to events with their cars. Until you walk in Andy James and my shoes for a season nobody will appreciate what a commitment it is. I know we do it out of choice but it really isn’t much to ask people to let us know if they can’t make an event. I also don’t want people to think you can put your name down and then providing you notify us it’s fine to not show. I’m my mind you should at least have a valid reason to pull out.The other key point  here is events plan their stand allocation and site plan based upon the number of club members attending. Therefore for example if we have 30 attending a show the event will allocate a spot for 30 cars. When only 20 show it’s a very awkward situation as a REO to explain. A situation where  you just roll up on the day is not workable .There’s more to this than members appreciate.

I Think charge £10 and Reimburse half other half goes to the club . caffeine & machine charge .

Then if they don't turn up 100%.

I sound like the chancellor or the other thing

That would be an admin nightmare on  top of what is already a time intrusive job. There are other ways so watch this space..

  9. Thanks George and Paul , great to see you both and thanks for making such a long trip. I’m more than disappointed in those that said they would come and once again didn’t show the courtesy to message me. I felt for everyone who showed and  you and those that travelled so far to see so few cars. I certainly won’t secure a venue like Ace for 13 cars when we had 23 booked next year so this event may need to be canned. Watch this space for some possible rule changes on committing to events and then not showing. Your cars are a credit to you both. Thanks for travelling so so far.

Sending all our love and best wishes to Amy and Matt.xx
