It's by far the friendliest and most helpful forum I've came across.

Was stood in the father and laws drive way and heard you coming. Car was looking and sounding great. You passed us just beside Holytown MOT's

Right car, right road

Much want. Sounds georgous!

Flicking through the December issue. Turned to page 157, what's this?? Oh yeah it's Dan AKA Ekona with his Spanish road trip write up! Good little read

The bulge is due to the 313 HR engine. Although it sits lower in the engine bay than in the earlier DE versions the block is actually longer hence the actual requirement for the bulge.

That thing could probably fuel your Porsche for a week!

+1 what Gudzy said. I have no idea what it'd be worth without them although if you are selling and Cobra oblige with new tips then maybe you could select the style of tips a potential buyer may want. Just a thought
-
resonated or non resonated? How old is it? What kind of mileage has it covered? ANd how the hell did you manage to only lose the tips??

Intakes are filters. Panel filters are what are on your car at the moment housed inside air boxes. Intakes delete these air boxes and more often than not are cone shaped. There are a few intake variants such as short ram (like takedas) which sit in your engine bay pretty much wher the air boxes sit. These would come with heat shields to deflect heat from your engine block being sucked in through the intakes. Stillens sit at the front of your car behind the bumper therefore you cannot generally see them but they have access to cooler air over the short ram variants meaning less heat soak.
Have a look at Tarmac's website as he stocks several different intake systems for your cars with pics

I have takeda's on my HR supplied by him and they are a quality bit of kit for the price but probably not the "best filters" if absolute performance is you goal. Ultimately tho none of these systems are going to gain you any significant horsepower. Its all about the added noise and the looks IMO!

I have bought from them before with no issues.

So to hijack the thread a little, how much more driveable is an HR engined zed after a remap as I believe they are already a big improvement over a DE engined zed.

Dibs on DA please

Seriously unless your confident you can manage your finances and your modding bug without rellying on bonuses or overtime then I would not suggest getting a loan or credit card you don't need. You say your constantly stressing at work about it, is the car worth this stress? If the answers yes then stop the mods until you can comfortably afford to do them. You also need to keep in mind potential unforeseen expenditure incase anything breaks when your not expecting it. V6's in general are not cheap when they go wrong!

What a car, what a video!
