Hello again. The saga continues. So from what Ian has told me the android phones aren't working as the iPhone cable is plugged in which is overriding the android (hdmi) cable. So that should be sorted. Problems with the install are: [*:2nmcwiw4]Hazard lights do not work anymore. (Something been uplugged? Cable been cut?) [*:2nmcwiw4]Trip computer does not work anymore. (Something been uplugged? Cable been cut?) [*:2nmcwiw4]Volume very low. (Ian has told me I need to install a Line Drive at a small extra cost (£79rrp), I'm worried the Line Drive is of low quality.) [*:2nmcwiw4]Doesn't work with any android phones. (Should be fixed by unplugging the iPhone cable) I'm happy to take it back to him but it's quite a way and will take time out of my day and cost £30 in petrol. I'm tempted to take it to a local car audio firm and get it fixed there for another £150 and having some peace of mind. Any suggestions? Anyone know why I would need a Line Drive with this unit? Isn't that essentially an amp? If so I need to get a decent one right? This thing has gone on far too long.

Yeah I know Ian will fix it once i'm back. No worries there was just trying to ascertain if there was a wiring conflict etc. With regards to the AppRadio working with my HTC One X thats undoubtedly a software problem. Pioneer need to get there act together with this unit as it has bundles of potential. It will work eventually with another firmware revision i expect.

Just a quick update. I bought a 2011/2012 UK and Europe update DVD from: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/theheisenberg ... 1497.l2754 I didn't want to buy a load of DVDR DLs in a pack just to burn an out of date torrent. It works perfectly and last night I tested it with Sarlat Le Caneda, 'City Centre'. No probs at all. Cheers

Hi guys So i just got a Pioneer SPH DA100 installed (AppRadio) by Quantum AVs, Great job all in all but now the trip computer has stopped working. Does anybody have an idea why it would stop working? Is it separate to the wiring for the HU? I will take it back to him and get it fixed but want to try and get some info first. Cheers

Well, after reading up on it, I'm glad I don't have any speed camera detection. "For some years now it is has been strictly forbidden under article R413-15 of the French 'Code de la Route' (highway code) to have a speed camera detector in a car in France, regardless of whether or not it is being used. i'm not relying solely on the birdpoo, it's very poor i agree. i am installing an SPH DA100 AppRadio unit to replace the Bose system. But the AppRadio seems to be a little sketchy too in certain areas so want the extra jizz of both for my road trips so i don't get caught out. i have an update disk for 2010 and i tihnk they have a new 2012 version now don't they? http://www.navigation.com/350Z-2007/Con ... bg2uHfh732

hello im looking for a standard middle upper dash piece the cubby is situated in. i currently have a factory fitted sat nav but want to get rid as i will be installing a new double din unit in the stereo position and want the cubby for mounting my phone. cheers

At the moment I'm happy to take any 313 in decent nick! Way overpriced imho. He wasn't budging either. I offered him £11,250.00 there and then cash in hand. Silly boy.

Is it me or are 350z's, specifically the later 313bhp model, going up in price? I've been solidly looking for a month now everyday and it's seems as though they are. Originally I thought a budget of 10k would get me a decent 313 with around 50k miles. Anyone else seeing the same trend?

Went to see the Midnight Blue one last night and was pretty disappointed to be fair. Bodywork wise had a massive scuff on the bumper with strike through on the panels edge above and around 3 small dents to the doors. Front potenzas had little to no tread on them and quite heavy wear on the inside edge. Alignment problem? Also the interior grab handle on the drivers door was scratched to buggery and the cubby button had scratches too. This is the first viewing I'd done and was ready to take it away. Are these things pretty normal for a car that old? Would've expected more and I don't think it was worth 12.5k! Bit sad.... Up side is though I definitely want a midnight blue one! Or maybe and Azure.....

I was initially just sticking to Gun Metal Grey, 07 313bhp with 60k odd miles and one owner. But I'm opening my horizons as I'm seeing a couple of really nice black and silver ones. Definitely a face lift and quite a new model 06 being the earliest really. 60k miles is the max I would go and the less owners the better preferably 1 owner from new. But when you I look at examples like that one with some nice extra bits and you say it is well known on here it becomes very appealing. Spacers and lowering isn't something I would have initially done but looking at the ones that have, I'm in. It's nice to keep it on here too and I want to look after it. Cheers!
