  1. i'll see what my schedule is for the weekend, already booked up to go karting at the end of the month with work so can't afford to go 2x really. G

Karting at Teesside is probably one of the best tracks and karts I've been in. Would highly recommend it to anyone. You should come for a bit of practice, so you embarrass everyone at your work race.

  2. So these goodies arrived in the post.

Went ahead with fitting them. No issues with fitting at all. But I did feel if they had been pre drilled, it would have been even easier to install. If they were pre drilled, they could be the new 'stubby' mod!

    New steering wheel fitted,

    Here she is.

Black alcantara, red stitch with red centre line at 12 o'clock.

I absolutely love it!. Its my favourite mod and favourite part of the car.

A couple of pics from dodgy angles.

(also got bored on day and carbon wrapped the rear strut cover)

Not sure if he doesn t like me, or doesn t like the wheel! Impossible, he must not like me.

  3. How can we guess from that Lacky?! :scare::lol:

Got 19's on mine and you can't beat a nice wide rear tyre set up. Look's great. B)

    I have no idea.

I was thinking of a truly stupid setup to do later in the year. Extremely deep dish and concave. The rears are 18x11 -30 offset and fronts are 18x10 -5 offset. Would be very expensive.

    Link to said wheels, http://www.jdmdistro.com/shop/18-wheels/ssr-leon-hardiritt-orden-2/

Please someone, with bigger balls than me, do this!! I really want to see them on a 350!

The new wheels going on at the end of the week (hopefully) are, in my opinion, the best looking wheels for a 350. B)

Really want to get them on for the Falcon meet and BBQ on Sunday.

  4. Just a little update from the weekend,

I really needed to fit new brakes. I was thinking some drilled and/or grooved discs and ebc stuff pads. Talked to Lee at Falcon and he got me some Pagid discs and pads.

    Old ones off

    IMG_1087_zpscbb848b8.jpg

    New ones on.

    IMG_1086_zps0d5d0da5.jpg

I've been toying with the idea of new wheels for a while. I told Lee in a joking way, he needs to source some wheels for me. 2 mins later he brought out a rear for me. I tried it on, loved it. I just need tyres for the fronts, spacers and some new nuts.

Heres a teaser. Can anyone guess what they are?

    IMG_1088_zpsd15b40e1.jpg

Standard 18" ray is on the ground. Test fit new wheel is on. It is 19x10 :teeth:

  5. Looks great Lacky and some really good mods you've done. Like it a lot. B)

With regards to the interior LED's staying on ~ It's because all LED's have a lower resistance than the original bulbs they replace. There is a small amount of current that flows through the interior light unit but with the original bulbs it is not enough to light them as their resistance is higher. With the LED's having less resistance it dimly lights them up all the time but is nothing to worry about and will not drain any power from the battery.

Keep up the good work. No "salute" emoticon so a thumbs up will have to do. :D:thumbs:

    That makes sense! cheers.

  6. Mine still glow like that when not switched on, got mine from cs2000.

Lovely looking car! Like those carbon pillars, how much did you manage to get them for? Any other plans for the car?

I got mine from him too. I have a few plans. Already purchased, but not yet fitted, side steps, rear diffuser, H&R springs, re-trimmed steering wheel, new discs and pads. I'll get some stuff done tomorrow.

Future purchases will be stillen front lip. and possibly later in the year some awesome rare wheels

  7. My knob arrived and I decided to fit a new gear gaitor while I was at it.

Found some black bride material. Already stitched into a gear gaitor shape from Ireland.

Black Tomei knob, Black gaitor. Thought it was nice and subtle.

Didnt cut the gaitor down at all as I like the oversized look.

A couple weeks ago I went to Its a Driftlife unit, where coops is a driver. I managed to get their vinyl guy to wrap my roof. I was spoilt for choice. He had hundreds of different colours available. He even had snake skin

I went for a carbon wrap. I know some people don't like carbon wrap, as it 'adds weight' and its supposed to look like you're saving weight. But I like it and that's all that matters.

I came across a boot divider. Everyone must have one by now!?

Also fitted my Carbon Bride cuga/vorga seat on Bride seat rail from the states which took a long time to get here.

    No photos of fitting it.

I'm in two minds of selling it and returning to standard. I love the seat, it looks the sh!t, and when it first went in, hugged me perfectly. Without trying to sound vain or anything, I've got quite wide from working out in the gym, and I am slowly out growing it.

    New lights, just because.

    IMG_1007_zps64f58527.jpg

Got the boot light and also the sunvisor mirror lights. (no pics, we know what they look like)

I noticed one night they kind of stay on when not in use!??

    IMG_1008_zps4a40799b.jpg

    Do they all do that?

  8. First proper mod to do was the exhaust. I drove to a friends, and we done it all on his driveway. I'll let the photos do the talking.

I fitted a used japspeed k1 for loudness.

Came out the gym one day. no one else in the car park, so i though why not.

  9. A couple of months later I sourced a 350 boot mat. I was sent this,

    IMG_1760_zps738aaba6.jpg

The company I bought it from said, they do not stock and sell roadster mats.

After sending them the photo, they agreed their delivery driver will pick up this one and swap to the coupe mat. Happy days.

I also bought some Berk HFC and a cobra Y pipe.

I Pm'd tarmac straight away for a replacement knob.

  10. Hello.

My name is Lachlan. Originally from Edinburgh, but move about UK quite frequently due to being in the military.

    Currently based in Bedfordshire.

    I own a 2006 Black Facelift 350z

I am a good friend of Ryan Cooper, (carboncoops, If you old lot can remember him?!) and through him I met Lee (R35Lee). Those many years ago, I knew I would own one.

While I was abroad on Det 2013, I was constantly looking at 350's for sale. I knew I needed to have one. I arranged to view a few the day after I landed back in UK. Two people cancelled while I was en-route back. Frantically searching the internets, I refreshed the pistonheads 350z for sale page. A brand new listing of a facelift in black with black leather and satnav, with standard miles. Exactly what I was after, in my price range. I looked at the location, and news got better, he was 30mins away from me. I rang him up straight away to say I was on my way to view. We chatted for a bit and scheduled to view the next morning, first thing. (How was I supposed to sleep that night) The guy selling was a fantastic bloke to deal with. We chatted for a bit, and realised we went to the same school (a few years different) and grew up near each other. The car was immaculate. No modifications what so ever. Absolutely every piece of paper and history was present. More chatting, some tea and a deal was made. I was extremely excited to finally own a 350z.

First thing I did when I got home was order a K&N panel filter and an rdx stubby.

    Any way onto the photos.

    First mod,

  11. Folded wing mirrors, *check*

Parked right up to the edge of the parking bay to minimize door on door contact, *check*

...could be a member on here! :D Just need to see if it's got a stubby aerial to be 100% sure though.

Exactly what I thought. Also the 350 numberplate
