phillips seem to be bright enough. Or cheaper option for the rear was to spray the bulbs with silver paint

8000k the light output isnt too great either, especially with the drizzling snow the other night

do the front tweeters still work with a new coaxial speaker in the door card??

i heard some where that the oiled panel filament of the K&n filters can affect the MAF? NOt sure how correct ive got that or if indeed it is true. Everyone seems to have pop chargers which are technically the same in terms of being an oiled filter element and with no problems I would go cosworth though if its a panel filter type you are after

Halfrauds say they will change any bulb for £4.50..so I took them my X5 for a side light bulb change.

1 hour later they did it, its a real s**it job, but who worries for £4.50..!!

 

Think I will do next time for all the hassle its worth!

I assume the bulbs have to be brought from halfords too?

I can imagine the halfords chap loosing his rag with a job like this and not taking care with the arch liner etc and screwing things up though? That would be my only conern

Braved the cold yesterday and fitted my new HKS grounding kit

Then decided to change sidelights for white LED canbus type and 8000k xenon bulbs, done the full wheel off, arch liner out etc as I nearly destroyed my hands last time, ended up taking nearly all afternoon!

Fitted 8000k bulbs today nice and white not really blue though
