I feel your pain chap.

These engines are quite complex and need a lot of time and skill just to change a head gasket.

You can see why many have swapped out an engine just for a top end rattle.

I know the organisers have got things moving earlier this year but I’m very pleased with the commitment so far from you guys.

Thinking it’s a 100 plus Club Stand again!

Come on guys and girls! It takes a lot of effort to put this together.

As usual can you only put your name down on the following list unless you have paid. ( I have the powers to check).

If you are going out on track then please ensure that it is added next to your name. The stand could potentially be 100 strong so I will make sure track timers are positioned to get out and back.

I started Hillclimbing at Gurston Down in 1992 for a couple of years in Sports Libra cars.

Stupidly I got interest again in 2009 with the Z and spent a fortune trying to chase the EVO 4x4 elite.

To compete at the level you are at requires a time and financial commitment which doesn’t make sense to anyone that’s not got the bug!

Its nice to see there is still a flourishing scene in the 240 camp considering how much they are now worth.

JP V2 Nissan.

It does have Subaru, Mitsubishi,Mazda and Lexus software built into it too.

Paid £300 a couple of years ago but they are much cheaper now.

Ive used it to remove EML, ABS,Airbag lights etc. Excellent tool.

I have the iCarsoft unit which works very well.

Thread tidied up and back on topic

Thanks to all that made the effort to attend today it was great to catch up once again.

After yesterdays atrocious weather I was somewhat sceptical about the forecast for today.

We ended up with a breezy sunny day which was perfect for wondering about looking at JDM motors. Numbers of participants were down along with the public attendance which was to be expected.

Didn’t take many pictures but the NSX stole the show for me.
