My windows don't freeze to the rubbers but on the horizontal weather stip along the top of the door. When you open the door thw window can't drop.

Like yours, as an import it did not have cc, but a guy on http://www.sau.com.au/ put a kit together including factory switches and an aftermarket control unit. Maybe a similar thing can be done for your Z.
