  1. Loving looking evo B)

Defo agree with the rear bumper tuck...... show off that nismo

    Cheers mate!

Yeah I might just do it when I get a chance to detail it!! If Im not feelin it Hopefully the holes you drill are low enough so they're not seen if you drop it back down??

  2. Yup, the power of the evo was crazy! and 150 miles to a tank was just as crazy. and it was my daily for over a year :bangin: lol

but the drive of the 350 is much nicer! much more solid, and nothing is rattling!!! interior of the evo sucks tbh, apart from the recaros.

im only considering it, nothings concrete. :teeth: how much are they worth? tbh though, i love the look and sound of this exhaust, would hate to sell it and it sound all wrong...

  3. Thought id start a thread here so i can do a bit of picture whoring for every mod, when it gets Clayed and treated, and generally pampered :teeth:

Absolutely Love the 350, amazing to drive whether it be gentle cruising, or giving it large on the loud pedal!! and the sound is f-cking immense!!! B) havent had a chance to open it up properly as its been non stop wet/icy so wants to spin up all the time, which can also be quite fun as im sure all you guys know! (slideways ftw  )

anyways, heres a few pictures of my previous performance cars to get the ball rolling

Honda Civic Type R, 250bhp NA. dont have any fancy photos of this, and it looks stock, but power wasnt at all! B)

    Hondata KPRO

DC Sports 4 branch decat header

    DC sports catback

    AEM CAI intake

    RBC Inlet manifold

Managed a 13.8 1/4 mile on road tyres and full interior, so it was fairly nippy :D

Evo 8 fq300, 400bhp/400ftlb. too many mods to list, so pictures of this will do B)

Managed a 12.3 1/4 mile, with a poo launch, road tyres and full interior. Not bad.

And now onto the new. Bought this approx 2 weeks ago, and loving it. Havent had a chance to give it a proper clean or take any pictures yet as its been pissing down non stop everytime im off work. weather FAIL. anyways, heres the details/spec:

2007 Ebisu Black 350Z GT, Rays, Bluetooth, cruise, bose

    38K miles

    Nismo Exhaust

    Eibach 25mm spacers all round

    Heated Tan Leather FTW!! B)

Hopefully going to order a set of Eibach springs soon to sort out the wheel gap issue  , then ill consider a few engine mods, possibly an exhaust, decat pipes etc.

also tempted by the rear bumper tuck, but think it best suits aftermarket cans/single exit. need to find some decent pics of a tuck with the nismo.

anyways, the 2 pictures i took, lol. (disclaimer - ignore the parking, i was waiting for a lorry to move so i could park where it was  )

will get some decent pictures up as soon as the weather lets me.

  4. True, unles you get Hondata and drop the vtec to 4300k rpm B)

I know what you're saying though, to get the most from the car you got to use the gears and revs.

I still managed a 13.8 1/4 mile in my Civic with full interior and road Tyres (continentals I think they were). Put 888s on you can pull off low 13s, supercharge and youre in the 12s on roads.

  5. Cheers mate, but just after a set of springs tbh. I enjoyed the luxuries of knocking coilies in the evo, replacing the top mount spherical bearings, shaft bearings, 10K down the line they're singing and dancing again due to London roads. FML!!!

Does the lack of replies mean I'm going to have to fork out full whack? damn this is an expensive month!!! Car, tax, Christmas.... lol

  6. happy medium,

Option 1 - buy a Civic Type R, amazing cars, great tuneability NA and FI. one of the best 4 cylinder engines ever made, look great, can look even better with subtle mods (wheels, lowered etc), theyre cheap as chips nowdays even for a facelift (53-06), and cheap to get to 250bhp NA revving happily to 8600rpm, which is in all honesty a good run for a 350Z/M3. oh and cheap to run.

option 2 - Buy an Integra DC5. come down alot in price. same as above but has teh JDM goodness. as its jdmYO, its the K20a version, ever so slightly uprated cams and valvetrain. but if youre modding, these factory upgrades dont make ANY difference at all. strange huh? bullsh-t advertising maybe? hmmm. lol. fit bolt ons to both DC5 and Uk EP3 (decat 4 branch race header, inlet manifold, catback, induction kit, Hondata Kpro) they both reach down south 230bhp, ap norf 250bhp. put them both on the strip theyre identical, so ignore the figures.

option 3 - if youre after some RWD, consider an S2k. has the greatness of the k20's but is an F20. kicking out a bit more power, and reving happily to 9K rpm. nice and cheap nowdays

option 4 - stop being a pussy and get an early 350Z to keep the costs down! These are amazing cars. much nicer than the above 3, but its a completely different car so cant really compare. youll love it when you get one, and the amount of slosh the will be looking your way is hilarious. B)

  7. Put in perspective I pay £30 for a dentist who's spend 7 years in university and 20 years building up a practice to carefully drill out my tooth and apply amalgam to the cavity...............I deeply begrudge how much this costs me.

£30 for a tyre to be fitted??!?! I'd rather try and put it on my self using my pecker as a tyre iron.
