  1. I'm after a set of 20mm and 25mm spacers, would consider 25mm and 30mm too. Eibach would be preferred but not essential - Used or new...

I'm also after a pair of 350z electric/heated door mirrors in any colour. I fancy fitting some LED indicators into a set (Audi TTS style) and smoothing the side repeaters. Don't want to commit to my original mirrors incase they don't look any good :)

  2. With your black theme I'm suprised you havent gone for some of these...i'm sure someone was selling them here before

funnily enough ive just ordered a set of clear reflectors from Steve @ Redline Styling on here! Been looking for 06-08 smoked ones for a while (to no avail) so i can make some LED DRL's out of them. Once ive made the clear ones il be tinting them before i fit them in a few weeks :D
  3. Hi guys, I've just taken off my BMW 7 series wheels and fitted a set of Teins and the standard Rays back on. Its going into the bodyshop tomorrow to get the front bumper resprayed due to a few stonechips etc i want rid of and have decided i want the wheels cleaned up and resprayed at the same time!

Ive got a 2009 350 in black, with lamin-x gunsmoke film on the headlights and black badges all around. Black being the theme i am stuck as to wether i get these wheels sprayed gloss black, matte black or Gun Metal Grey...any thoughts on what would look best? They are standard silver at the moment...

  4. Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked and answered many times before but i couldnt see anything immediately...

Im looking to install a flash overpriced double din headunit with nav etc...however i really dont want to lose the standard mobile phone handsfree connection. Do you know if i will lose this integration when i take the standard unit out? It obviously mutes the music etc when you get a call so will have to be interlinked somehow?

Im aware there will be bluetooth on the new HU but these are always flaky and would much prefer to keep the standard setup with steering wheel answer button.

ive got a 2009 model with a Bose if that changes things...

    Thanks in advance :)

  5. For sale - front and rear near new tyres off my 350z on eBay. Grab a bargain, i only took these off to fit my track tyres and have no use for them now...

  6. nope was right next to you at the lights by the shell was in sliver one

aah yeah i remember! this was before i had fitted the new wheels. I had just put the coilovers on and was taking it out to test it. As i pulled up to the lights i heard a god awful noise (hence why i didnt spank it away like you did) :), i @*!# myself and crept it down the road and pulled over to check what it was.

turned out it was just the camber of the road catching the splitter :)

I like the wheels but the tyre stretch not so much!

...and Nankings oooooh - i just said a dirty word

Nankangs weren't the first choice but when you have just dropped £800 odd on a set of Advans for the Rays, i wasnt jumping at the chance to spend even more for another set of 19's! im not going to be taking this round the Nurburgring on these wheels either so the only job these tyres had to do was separate the rim from the floor

  7. I like the wheels, but does the stretch not damage the sidewalls of the tyre or cause uneven wear?

(then again, I suppose that look is more for posing than serious driving :stir: )

no the stretch wont damage the sidewalls, maybe uneven wear if its not set up propperly and aligned, but it will be as of next saturday :)

yeah these are purely posing wheels, ive got the rays in the garage with track tyres on and a little mx5 track car to abuse instead of this :)

  9. wheels are on! im running on the same ride height as i was before. to really tuck the wheels in the arches i could do with dropping another inch or so but its such a low car as it is i think that would be foolish :)

suspension needs to settle etc but here she is!

  10. Same wheels I have, I've got 20mm spacer on the front and 33mm on the back. Had to get rear arches rolled as there was rubbing and went from Eibach springs to Tein to increase the ride height. I did buy some 20mm spacers for the rear but the rolling and new springs seems to have stopped the rubbing, so they're going back!

You can see my car here - removed the photo in case people think it's your car!

That photo is with them on the Eibach springs, so theres a bit more room in the arches than that now. Hopefully getting the wheels aligned on Saturday.

What size tyres did you go for? Mine are 235 all round, stretched but any bigger on the rear and I think they will rub like crazy!

nice mate, good to see someone else with these wheels! I wish i knew you had these wheels before i started the project though, all the parts/measurements have been guesswork and wishfull thinking! :D

Tyre wise, ive gone for 225/35R19 on the front and 235/35R19 on the rear. fronts are 9 inch wide and rears are 10's. Have you got staggered fitment or all the same width on yours?

as per the thread, ive put the D2 coilvers on so will have to play around with the ride height once fitted. i was hoping to get away without rolling the arches, hopefully the stiffness of the suspension keeps the arches from rubbing...

  11. Time to dust off my wheels and get them ready to fit to the car!

Bought a set of BMW 7 series wheels 6 or so months ago and have spend the last few months working out what tyres/spacers/adapters/wheel nuts etc. i will need to get them on and set up well.

Picked up a set of 25mm H&R adapters to change the Nissan stud pattern to that of a BMW, along with some new BMW locking wheel bolts -

3 of the 5 wheels and a new set of rubber for them :)

time to trail fit them before they go off to get dipped -

little taster for now, i dropped them at BJV Engineering on saturday to get dipped, refurbed and powercoated so will be picking them up this saturday and fitting if the weather holds out :)

  12. True coilovers on the rear, did you strengthen at all?

no mate, we had this debate a few weeks ago in the suspension section. If you do the research into the pros and cons, there is about 50% who dont reccomend and 50% that do.

I drive this car once a week if im lucky and its very light driving, not hard or excessive at all. Ive got a dedicated track car in the garage for driving like a nutter so the 350 is my cruiser :) more show than go.
