Cheers for the replies chaps. Yeah both confirmations have now come through and say they should be delivered on the 3rd of Jan. I'll know for next time but it's always frustrating when you're already confused and then to add to it the person on the other end of the phone can barely speak English

Ordered some Nokian WR A3s a few days ago. Today I received an invoice for 2 of them with a delivery date etc but not for the others. Rang them up (obviously a foreign call centre) and the convo went something like this… Me:Hi, I ordered 4 tyres and I've only got an invoice and delivery date for 2 of them. Can you check the status of my order please? Her: You want to buy winter tyres? Me:Well yes, but I've ordered them and just want you to check the status of my order Her: Ok, what tyre size and speed rating do you want? Me: (trying hard to remain calm) I have the order number it is……xxxx Her: So you've already ordered tyres then? It went on for some time like this and I ended up finishing the conversation without being any further forward. Although I think she said the tyres will be dispatched by the 3rd of January…. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Looking for some used winter tyres 2x225/45/18 2x245/45/18. Probably a bit of a long shot but no harm in asking before I shell out for brand new ones Would of course have to have a decent amount of tread

Glad to hear it mate! Really enjoying it! I had it for about a week before the ice came so got a wee bit of a taste of how truly awesome it is. Think I'm going to try and get some winter tyres for it but if the worst comes to the worst I've still got my Fiat Bravo to fall back on. Although it feels like driving a toy car now compared to the Zed!

Orange one was behind me on the road up to Milton of Craigie Asda and 370 was actually in the Asda car park. Gave both a flash and wave but only got a wave back from the 370 driver

Hey guys, looking to get some winter tyres and WRA3s seem reasonably priced and from what I can find get pretty good reviews. Has anyone here used them? If so what were your thoughts? I have checked the owners manual and it says the tyre sizes should be 245/45/18 rear and 225/45/18 front. Can I just double check that is correct? Many thanks for any help in advance!

Well I'd been working in Edinburgh today and got to the train station to find out the trains to Leuchars were cancelled due to the weather. Anyway, I ended up having to get a train to Kirkaldy and then bus it from there. Spotted a Zed in a car park en route having just left the train station. Could have been grey or silver and looked stock with rays.

I know the feeling mate. I wear a suit for work and when I went in to dealers wearing it the way they treated me was completely different to when I went in wearing jeans a hoody

Hey mate, I just turned 21, earn pretty much the same as you and got mine almost a month ago. It's definitely expensive to run but well worth it in my own opinion. I will point out I live at home and often am away travelling for work and have all my expenses paid when I am. I do have a second car though. Take one for a spin and you'll know whether it's right for you or not.

Awesome mate, looking forward to seeing some pics. In terms of mods I don't think I'll be changing anything appearance wise but I may look in to some performance mods once winters over. I'm extremely skint after buying the car as I ended up going £1500 over budget....woops And need winter tyres...
