Although we'd probably make more selling red diesel

This idea's got everything!

I'm in, I've been looking for an alternative to becoming a crack dealer to cope with the rising costs of petrol!
-
+1 I can't understand why Nismo don't have a UK or European supplier when so many people want their stuff...
-
Check out my intro picture thread, 3rd picture down shows it, pretty sure it's the same...

I'm pretty sure it's the same as the one I've got on my car (I will check when I get home and confirm), if so it sounds very good for a budget zorst, nice throaty tone under heavy load but a tiny bit drony at cruising speed. Can't comment on any effect to performance though as it was on the car when I bought it.

Carbon Fibre wrap
It's the RSW kit
Sorry mate! I'm still just a noob...
-
Also, loving the carbon fibre wrap on the centre console
-
Your gear knob is the same as mine, and the handbrake handle looks very nice with it! Where did you get the Nardi one from?
-
Having recently replaced the standard gear knob with a very pretty carbon fibre one from Tarmac, the handbrake now sticks out like a very ugly sore thumb. Anyone know of a decent one that i can replace it with? I have trawled ebay and all the other likely locations but no joy so far.
Cheers!

All joking aside, I had PS2s on my previous car and rated them very highly as well. I guess which tyre is best is very much a subjective decision but in terms of dry grip and pure performance the Michelin Sport range edges it for me!
-
Came 4th in the evo 2012 tyre test if anybody is looking for comparisons
Behind:
3- Goodyear Eagle F1A 2
2- Hankook Ventus S1
1 -Continental ContiSportContact 3
That was the Pilot Sport 3, not the Pilot Super Sport. The Super Sport would have won hands down I'm sure...
-
He wants to have a word with my local tyre place then, they informed me that Super Sports only have 4mm of tread and aren't worth the money! Great selling technique and knowledge (they are actually the standard 8mm...)

I took a Nissan GT-R round Mallory park recently, it was literally incredible! I also drove an Audi R8, a Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari F430 and 996 Carrera. The Nissan smashed them all out of the park in terms of fun
Hope you have a great day whatever you choose!
-
Thanks mate, hopefully I can avoid driving over any nails / police stingers / potholes for a while!

Blow out on the motorway ... Glad your ok
Thanks Doogy,iIt was a little bit hairy, luckily I'd noticed in the morning that the tyre looked a bit squishy so I wasn't going too fast!
-
I got a massive screw in a rear one
There's a 'that's what she said' joke in there somewhere!
Seriously though, thanks for the advice as ever guys, bought the Super Sports yesterday (£950 fitted on 18s) and I'm very impressed so far. Now I just need the weather to sort itself out for a day or two so I can actually use my right foot occasionally!
-
After much deliberation (about 5 minutes ) I decided on the Pilot Super Sports all round. Having just completed a 200 mile journey I can state that they have completely transformed the feel of the Zed, to the point that they felt grippier and more composed in the wet (damp) today than the Bridgestone Potenzas did in the dry! Highly recommended!
-
I suffered a spectacular blowout of one of my Bridgestone Potenzas on the motorway yesterday so I thought I'd take the opportunity to get some better rubber on the car as I don't really like the Potenzas. I am thinking about the Michelin Super Sports but before I fork out the £1k for a full set I thought I'd better make sure there isn't a cheaper tyre that will give comparable performance!
Thanks guys, hope you all had a good Crimbo.

Worrying about the offenders feelings and rights is what has put this country where it is today.
