I agree with you. It's perfect with std cats but with decats it's loud and I persevered for best part of 2yrs and now my hearing is gone.

Swapped my cats and y pipe over today on axle stands with lots of heat to move the nuts on the engine ends of the cats. Came off as one piece though as y pipe to cat nuts had turned to rounded rust rings

been having a look under my car and likewise, most of the exhaust nuts are rounded circles of rust! Got them off with heat but wouldn't move without. Good luck!

To get rid of it you'll need to fill it (cheapest way- glue something larger and Plastic behind) but you'll still need to fill, smooth and paint and unless you can blend will be a whole bumper paint job. No easy solution I can think of!

Filled mine with another number plate straight over the top?
