worth (visually) checking the bushes on the front suspension as well - my front banana arm / compression bush was knackered and after replacing feels better.

...so has been a while since the last meet here so let's seeh if this works for everyone..
Sat 14th April 4pm at trhe Ace Cafe, London.
there's a Nissan Figaro meet that day at 11am and then a band on at 9pm so if we aim for 4pm should workout!
Stick your name down if you can make it. I'll contact Ace tommorow and try and 'book' the carpark. By that time of year will still be a good couple of hours of daylight to look at cars etc.

I rememer seeing somewhere that there's a mic somewhere in the cabin that detects cabin noise and i guess adjusts volume accordingly? might be worth looking for that and pulling it out! Maybe theenw HU was wired into the OEM stuff
Edit: here's a diagram of OEM speakers and the mic to detect cabin noise that mgiht be useful! apparently the mics under the steering column

we can do another sat night meet at the Ace Cafe again? maybe end of March or April so plenty of time to get good numbers?

the 350Z is the most expensive car I've had to insure as well (more than a 400bhp 200SX, turboed MX5, 2JZ GTE Aristo) and the Zed isn't even tuned so count yourself lucky that you've got a good deal!
-
certainly different! not sure I would buy any though as a bit too far out there for my tatse!
-
interesting stuff!

been to DMS a couple of times to get my 200SX mapped and nice place with good people!

Check out MX5nutz.com forum as well. Can't remember if mk1/2 roofs are interchangeable with mk3s?
-
Is the last track space still available? If so stick me down please with 2x ticket and stand!

Is anti freeze used to prevent cracks from happening within the engine due to expanding ice water?

MK2 Toyota Aristo?? much less than £10K! 2JZ GTE, lots of room and all the toys!
-
Just taken me an hour to do a 25 min drive in the snow. Is eerily quiet though. Which area you out and about in?
-
lots less than £5K??

had a mongoose / blueflame on my S13 and it was pretty loud! not as loud as some but enough to annoy the neighbours!

this one has been for sale for months as I remember looking at the ad when looking for mine (Sept 11) which isn't a bad thing but might make him more open to price negotiations!
runout? check when changing discs?

for under £25 i just bought a dial indicator gauge and arm off Ebay to check it properly. Check the runout on just the hub once old discs are off and before fitting the new discs, if that's off then the hub has issues, if not then check it on the new discs once theyre on. if out of limits a use a combination of cleaning the hub / disc / rotating the discs til it's within acceptable limits.... that's my plan for tommorow!
I think if you just put them on and wait for judder you can ruin them so better to get them on straight in the first place.
