  1. for under £25 i just bought a dial indicator gauge and arm off Ebay to check it properly. Check the runout on just the hub once old discs are off and before fitting the new discs, if that's off then the hub has issues, if not then check it on the new discs once theyre on. if out of limits a use a combination of cleaning the hub / disc / rotating the discs til it's within acceptable limits.... that's my plan for tommorow!

I think if you just put them on and wait for judder you can ruin them so better to get them on straight in the first place.

  2. ...so has been a while since the last meet here so let's seeh if this works for everyone..

Sat 14th April 4pm at trhe Ace Cafe, London.

there's a Nissan Figaro meet that day at 11am and then a band on at 9pm so if we aim for 4pm should workout!

Stick your name down if you can make it. I'll contact Ace tommorow and try and 'book' the carpark. By that time of year will still be a good couple of hours of daylight to look at cars etc.

  3. I rememer seeing somewhere that there's a mic somewhere in the cabin that detects cabin noise and i guess adjusts volume accordingly? might be worth looking for that and pulling it out! Maybe theenw HU was wired into the OEM stuff

Edit: here's a diagram of OEM speakers and the mic to detect cabin noise that mgiht be useful! apparently the mics under the steering column
