Storm White

I've not posted on here much because I've had no problems! The boot release is a bit sticky but I CBA to get it fixed, it doesn't really bother me. I'm not sure how long I'll keep the car longterm, purely because of the running costs, but I love the rareness of it, and it's exciting every time I push the start button.

Hmmm, they definitely did that on purpose, glad they didn't mark your car. I hate car parks.

My previous car was a Megane R26 in liquid yellow, and it was always covered in flies! I think they thought it was a big flower. I've noticed a lot less flies land on the white 370.

I've noticed the mirrors being right in the way as well! I've had to pump the seat up a bit and now I can't get comfortable. I love the low down driving position and it feels a bit weird to be higher up. I'm sure I'll get used to it. I love the car so much I'll put up with anything!

Yep, pressed twice - not to ACC, but ON, not with the engine running. Nothing happens when I hold down the door button... Unfortunately West Way in Southampton are the only main dealer for miles around... My next concern is saving up for tyres. Dealer quoted me £400 a corner for Potenzas, I nearly fell over. NO way am I paying that!

Well, I've tried, and just can't get it to work. Mine's a 59 plate so maybe it only works on the later models. I've tried it with the ignition set to ON and holding down the lock button - and nothing. The dealer couldn't get it to work either. Oh well.

Don't worry, I haven't done that, I just wondered! Had a go at turning the auto-lock thing on and couldn't do it, so I've left it to the dealer to have a go while it's serviced.

I don't know whether I'm supposed to lock it with the door button or just walk off and it locks itself or what! I've been reading the manual a LOT since Saturday, haven't even started trying to tackle the satnav instructions yet! I have also taken my first call on the Bluetooth and was impressed at the quality. The car is just awesome, I love it more every day - the looks, the noise!

Hello, I just wondered if there's any kind of auto door lock function on the 370? My Megane had RAID (Renault anti-intruder device) where, if activated, it would lock all the doors and boot as soon as the car went above 10 MPH. I can't find any mention of anything similar on the 370, just the manual button on the driver's door.. By the way, I LOVE this car! I will post pictures at some point, but suffice to say, it's AWESOME. I'm still learning what all the knobs and buttons do lol

I bought it!! Pick it up next Sat. It's absolutely MINT, not a mark on it - and perfect alloys. Loads of tread on the tyres as well. The carbon wrap on the fangs isn't very well done though, I can't wait to get that off, do those things come off easily? It also has a protective plastic film over the front bumper to guard against stone chips, but it's coming off round the edges, so that can come off as well. I'm assuming all I need to do it is a hairdryer? The next week is really going to drag!

Thanks Ebized. Yes I like the 'fangs'! Well, I've spoken to the guy and had a really good chat, he seemed really genuine and answered all my questions. It sounds perfect. The black bit is indeed a wrap which can come off, so that's good. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I'm going to see it soon, so I hope he doesn't sell it in the meantime! Fingers crossed for me...

^ thank you! Oh, what's that? It's a 59 plate, and according to the ad it does have Sat Nav and bluetooth... EDIT: Oh, OK, just had a Google and found out it's better satnav with a touchscreen which does more bits. Ah well, the cars with that in are a big jump in price.

What do you think to this? http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3114505.htm I notice it has the black nose, which I'm not keen on, but it looks like a wrap to me which could hopefully be removed. Anyone know this car? My only concern is that it's been for sale on PH before (I know because I've been looking every day for a long time!), and it was removed, so I wonder why it's back.

You're right, the lower-priced white ones are being snapped up. However, I'm now in a position to do the snapping so I hope one turns up soon. I sold my Megane R26 and I'm cycling everywhere at the moment! I will be having a nosy round the forum to see some of the cars here, I love them.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I definitely do need some help, there's just nothing around at the moment.. I have a budget I want to stick to, I don't want to stretch myself too much for a car - especially as it won't be cheap to run! Annoyingly there've been a few second-hand white ones for sale, but they were sold before I was in a position to be able to get one. Now I am - there are none! A new one would be awesome but 30k+ is way out of my league I'm afraid...

I think I nearly bought this car, then noticed the black bits. The dealer offered to respray it white for a fee, but I declined. Shame someone's done that to it as it's a lovely car. Would have snapped it up if it was standard. It also explains why it's still for sale.

Hello all, I'm new and looking for a white 370z! Hopefully I'll be a proud owner very soon.. I'm struggling to find one at the moment because all the ones currently on sale are a bit pricey for me, but I'm sure one will turn up sooner or later.
