  1. Yes Toby I have seen the photos too and would agree with your opinion but the colour in photos can vary quite a lot to the actual cars sometimes thats why I asked the question for there hasn't been any vibrant red come to NI as yet

  2. I think I could organise to book Kirkiston race track for a day, Mondello isn't in Northern Ireland and a possibility to include it in 2013 for a trip to the republic of ireland, might get Andlid roped into organise that trip

  3. I'm in NI and I have a 2007 350Z UK model insured with admiral for just around £300 in a2 car multicar policy and it includes NCD protection. I think you should see what they would charge for a UK car. I'm a lot older than you but at 27 you shouldn't be paying that much. B)

  4. I'm throwing out a feeler to see what interest there would be among forumers to visit in 2012 and drive around the beautiful mourne mountains and around the lakes of fermanagh and take in a visit to Titanic Quarter in Belfast with it being the centenary of the launch followed by the tragic maiden voyage in 1912.

  5. I'm a little baffled by these free credit cards, any that i have been offered have told me that i transfer my existing balance to their card and get say for example 9 months interest free for the balance transferred, then in small print it says subject to a 3% transfer fee. So in fact your paying 3% for 9 months which in turn would represent an APR of something over 4%. Thats not free IMO :scare:

  6. :welcome: I have a facelift model and its a superb car with no oil consumption problems and its a better overall car to look at IMHO.

The higher tax I looked at it this way - its £200 per year, not much if you get an older car and run into lots of repair bills. There is also no guarantee that the lower rate on older cars will not disappear. Doesn't make sense to me to pay £1000 or £1500 too much for an older car to save £200 per year on tax, don't need a degree in Maths to work that one out B)
