Both Niko and i will be travelling from the direction of Sheffield so could possibly meet on route and convoy in.
If i'm coming from Sheffield i'm out onto the M18 from the A57 Worksop exit, or off the end of the Parkway. so i'm thinking the best place to meet up is somewhere off the A1?
-
oooh i'm off that day... i'll try to battle through hordes of tractors, horseboxes and potholes and navigate the ringroad from york...or failing that pootle across the M18 from Sheff
-
naughty ....i thought it was ilegal to have the live output of the camera visible to the driver whilst the vehicle is in motion [except parking cameras]....
-
whats the problem.. i can just make out the downpipe on the left...
-
woohooo ta for the zorst ... i now have a new favourite place .... Hatfield Tunnel

Isnt this, in part, covered under the Rehabilitation of offenders Act?
"Applying for Insurance
You may say that you do not have any previous convictions on an application form for an insurance policy as long as the rehabilitation period has ended and the convictions are spent. This still applies even if the convictions are relevant to the insurance policy being taken out – you do not have to disclose spent road traffic convictions when applying for car insurance, for example."
Now seeing as there is actually no conviction for any crime at all as you are offered the "course" instead of the conviction, providing certain criteria are met are the insurance companies now not running the high risk of getting their collective asses kicked again for discrimination, as there no way they can force an answer to the question and it is your right whether you chose to answer it or not?
Secondly what is a speed awareness course? .. the whole question is ambiguous. I may have attended a course for speed awareness as part of my employment [ say for example i work for drivetech], i may have attended one of a thousand advanced driver days and one of these may have related to speed and the the appropriate us of said speed...do the insurance companies expect me to answer "Yes" to this?

Just out of interest .... rather than LED's why not use EL-Wire as its a lot subtler [thats surely not a real word] and it doesnt have the "spottyness" of LED's as the whole length of wire illuminates?
Whats an el wire? Sort of like neons?
basically think "Tron" .... its the same stuff that was used to create the Neon typ effects in it.
Beauty of it is...
1) The whole length of the wire illuminates.
2) Its not a light source as such but more of an accent
3) The switchgear to power it up is pretty simple [just use the 12v converters]
i was looking at doing something with this stuff for the rear strut brace. just need the time to sit down and work through it.

Blackfire paint sealant is excellent stuff. You will be amazed at how smooth the paintwork feels after applying. Then wax over the top
+1
its a doddle to apply as well

Email notification we've had fro o2....
Hello
We’re having a problem with 2G and 3G voice & data services. We’re trying to fix it now.
We’ll email you again in an hour with an update. Or sooner if we fix the problem.
If you’ve got any questions, call our customer service team on the usual number. You’ll need the reference number 8272946 when you speak to them.
Sorry for any trouble we’ve caused you.
Kind regards
Service Experience Management Centre
We’ll do our best to tell you if there’s a problem with the network, or if it’s going to be affected by any changes we’re planning. If you want to change who this email goes to, email SEMC@o2.com.
-
Its only a partial outage, therefore not effecting every o2 connected device. From what we've seen here its only affecting the newer handsets/connections ...e.g iphone 4s's
The vast bulk of our M2M 3g sims are working fine.

I'll try to make it to this one...
and yes i know haow to get there from Sheff, going either m1 or m18 .....i'm a local, you can tell by the accent..
-
Am i the only one that was watching that thinking "would of hit that..", "and that", "ooh and that", "thats a nice field ...would of been in that"?
-
the strut covers just unclip with some gentle motivation ....but check double check and check again... i had the same issue and it was all pointing to the strut covers but after 3 months of pulling them apart it turned out to be the little rubber plug things either side of the boot lid. These are the 2 stoppers that can only be seen when the boot lid is open, and dont squeak for some time after its closed...lube them up just to be sure.
