Does the roof leak? Damn you must have owned this car too! Its only the passenger side though, drivers is dry as a bone!

I've just picked up an 04 reg imported in 07 for 6K purely as a sunday car. Insurance is £700 a year and I expect it to cost me £1000 a year in maintenance and/or improvement. Mine is quite heavy on fuel so I couldn't justify running it daily all year but it gives me a massive grin when I drive it and it makes the ladies wet so its all good. I too have a family and a sizeable mortgage to pay and at the moment its affordable.

I've just sold an MX5 that was a road legal track car and have just moved to a Nissan Primera thats going to be track only so I can remove a lot of the problem road legal parts. I don't do a lot of track days but building something yourself for 1 or 2 days epic fun a year is quite exciting.

Hopefully not full time as I now have the other Nissan but you never know! I'd certainly like to do it once to see how the Z performs but need to be realistic about things! Its going to ferry my ass to the ring next spring so it will get a little action then as a taster maybe. And thanks for the welcome, she needs a little work here and there but given time it should turn out nice, 1 week in and the dash is coming off to get some flocking action on the centre console!

Morning All. I've been lurking for a few days so I thought I should stick my head in and say hi. I'm a long time Japanese car fan and I took the plunge a few days ago and bought a 350z after selling my little MX5 track car. Not that its anything other than standard but here she is and here is my previous toy: I do also have a Nissan Primera Track car I've now got the best of both worlds with a proper track toy and a nice sunday cruiser! Evening all. bear with me and apologies if this has already been a topic for conversation, the search button returned nothing! I currently have a 180 kph speedo on my JDM that has been converted to MPH with a converter and tape. I'm looking to replace the complete dial face but the only converters I can see are 160mph max faces or the 120mph max faces. I've since learned that the 2007 z came with a 180 speedo on it (at least from the pictures). is that true and is if is what are the chances of getting hold of one of these faces from a knackered set of clocks? I know its a lot of effort for nothing but it nearly makes me cry looking at a bit of black tape over the MPH! Cheers Kev
