Did you have any luck with this as i had exactly the same problem, just havent got round to taking it all out again. I removed the spring but still cant get the thing to reset.

Did you remove the spring as per the guide? I did this to mine about 2 months ago and cant get it to work, wondered if it had anything to do with that? I need to pull the unit out again and have a proper look really, bit annoying as its a faff with sat nav. Will

Called Mark and the guys at short notice to get my plugs changed and to look into a couple of other niggles, as usual they didn't hesitate to accomodate and proceeded to find the annoying rattle that had recently appeared. Thanks to all the guys and will be seeing you for brakes later on in the year. Will

Ive been thinking about changing mine, problem is its the opposite end of the mileage scale? Are you looking for a really low miler? Its a 2007 gunmetal with Nismo......

yeah it sounds like it runs through the eject procedure. took the spring out exactly as in the guide. im confused as to why it worked first of all and now doesnt.......

Just the phono connection..... right....... cd and radio work fine. press tape and flashes 'press eject', presd eject and screen goes blank and go through a procedure. what i dont get is why it worked at first. is there any point in trying to disconnect the battery and leaving ? or best just to bite the bullet and take it all apart again?

cheers guys. its odd because when i 'tested' the unit it all worked ok, went to start the car next time and it didnt work......

Hi did the hack as per the guide but (as in another thread) my head unit wont reset. When i press tape it says press eject, if i press eject the unit goes blank. Tried the resting technique in the guide but cant get any joy, with various timings. I cut the tracks and removed the spring if it helps. Whats the best timing for restting the unit?

Honestly......loving it. Obviously not loving the cost of those bushes but had to be done. Two new front tyres next! It has cost me £650 in a week having had a P3 done on monday! Means the uprev may have to wait a bit but still on the cards!

Graham it must be the week for 4 wheel alignment followed by bushes! Took mine to abbey wednesday only to get 'that call' but cant fault the guys at Abbey who offer the polybush kit and were able still get the car ready on time for my arranged collection. Absolutely superb service, knowledge is un-rivalled and needless to say up-rev is on the agenda.......
