  1. Cheers , Yeah il ask RT As well as this thread , Im after the opionion/advise from people who have had it done as well as the Sellers. Thought about spray but the cost would be near double and the paintwork at the moment is still in "A" condition so at least a wrap would protect this as well rather than rub it all down .
  2. The potential damage was main worry , if someone were to brush against it getting in the car with a zip or something i wouldnt want it to tear , On the way to work this morning a motherfu*ker of a stone hit somewere and i thought to myself if the wrap was on would that have torn a bit ? Thanks for the replys so far anyway keep em coming its helping me alot and no doubt others too I would like to hear from someone who has had a wrap removed as well , something that concerns me is how they remove and reattach the trim/badges and cut the material while on the car , when watching it online surely it would scratch the paintwork/cut up the rubber seals ? Lastly , i also have a bodykit on and am not sure if the heat wrapping would affect its shape and paint so if anyone has had a kit wrapped could you tell us if it went smoothly ?
  3. Iv been itching to get a gloss white wrap for some time now and would like any of your opinions on wrapping in general , any experiences good and bad , Average prices and also is there anywere in or around Cumbria that anyone knows of/has experiences with ? Iv found a few around 2 hours away but would prefer to go somewhere someone has had experience with. Dom
  4. JapSpeed to a HKS Rep now called the K4..... (Deffo not endorsing it tho) http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Latest-Produc ... K4/p-0-970 thanks , had a look at it before but id rather spend the little bit extra and get an invidia , this was more incase anyone had an old one knocking around for say £100-200
  5. Dosnt have to be a K1 mind , If could choose it would be a cheap HKS Rep I would say thanks for the help but , you know ..
  6. Just want something to put me on until i decide on what to do long term , old K1 or K4 or something if anyones got one lying around cheap enough Dom
  7. Ah , Maybe not so wanted anymore
  8. As in title for an 06 Z , Had a scout about but cant see anywhere to get them , just after an idea of the price really
  9. People Pm'ing but trailing off when comes to payment , Anyone intrested message me an offer
  10. You are assuming you dont have 16mm of clearance already there though, you probably do. No man can 100% categorically say what will fit and what wont, I can give you advice based on personal experience but things like tyre wall profile, suspension camber, degree of loweredness (new word, woo!) can all make a difference. Examples though: 18x12 ET0 with 275/35 tyre, running 3.25 degs camber: 18x11 ET 0 with 245/40 tyre, standard camber: 18x10 ET -13 with a 275/35, standard camber and arches almost certainly only rolled: Back on the first page youve got mine as well, 10J ET15 with 255/35 tyre IIRC, standard camber, no archwork at all. Oh Noooo now you have me looking into arch work , If i go to that i would go the full monty and dont want to be spending that kind of money to get some pointy out wheels Realisticly i want about 4" Dish and sitting flush to the arch but after 4 days of trauling the internet iv came up with nothing , i understand offsets a little now and at this point would look at other types of wheels than the ssr's ect but still really struggling , If your mates wheels would fit with a roll id look into it but cant work out why its so hard to simply find a dished wheel with the right offset to fit flush. Current wheels are : Front Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +30mm Tire: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: +33mm Tire: 245/45/18 so in the mindset of 30mm spacers at the back and 25 front begin the most i can go to without rubbing i should be looking for this right ? Front Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +5 Tire: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: +3mm Tire: 245/45/18
  11. Using the online calc says id have 16mm less clearence inside so would need 20mm spacers or something pushing the wheel out even more and had a read up on my350z , apparently no chance without pulling fenders , FFS back to the hunt Although it would look all kind off awsome :
  12. I dont fancy rolling the arches , Even then iv read of people having to have them pulled to fit 12's at the back , havnt even considered the front yet either
  13. They are also the 2 piece Meisters, not the considerably more desirable 3 piece (proper split rims) That said, £450 is pretty cheap, youd probably be able to punt them on for something approaching that having seen the dish on the ones you linked the £450 ones are looking less attractive , also the realisation that i would probably be stuck with odd rims for a hell of a long time is putting me off, gutted the gold ones wouldnt fit they were exactly what i was after.
  14. Didn't you get them for your B/Day Ah no , I had considered that but without knowing if they would fit / were worth it I didn't like to suggest it.
  15. I actually got the price wrong those other miesters were £450 not £650
  16. Tell you what , If those would fit on a Z without arch rolling id put an offer in , although the stretch on those tyres looks mental/dangerous and dosnt seem to be much tread on them. Oh and the Girls already chase me
  17. Thats about my budget , only thing was that the SSR Pro's were coming in at around 3K without tyres , Couldnt find any Miesters and found these 2 for that price so if it needs a little fiddling to get them on thats ok with me , just dont want to start talking to the guy about buying them if there is no chance they would go on. Hope that makes sense , il check out the Rays Gram light 57 now
  18. Ok , now looking at the tyres and peiceing together bits of info online im not 100 % and dont want to start looking at buying these wheels if there not going to fit , Can anyone tell me if/how these would fit with standard suspension , as far as i can tell i would need 35mm spacers , any info i should know about the wheels or tyres , sorry i know these type of threads are hated but really would help me out as these are the exact style of wheels iv been after - 225/40/18 Primewell tyres - Work Miesters X 2 18x10 et40- £650
  19. How do you know how much dish a wheel has ? is that the X9.5 part ?
  20. Would if I could but it's just whatever I can find second hand
  21. Ok , so im even more lost now Basically there are a couple different sets of SSR wheels im looking at , theres a pair ( 2 ) that are listed as : "18x10 et40ish 225/40/18 tyres" Then there are a full set that are listed as : 18x8.5 +30 offset 235/40/18 Tyres 18x9.5 +43 offset 265/35/18 Tyres And lastly there are some Rota Rip offs listed as : "18 x 8 ET 48" So firstly would they even fit and what spacers do we think id need to get them to sit like Rays would with 25 front and 30 rear spacers on , Also i wanted some with a fair whack of dish on them so would i be right in thinking 18X8 is nothing , were as the 18X10 is quite a lot ? Thanks for the help so far guys id be even more lost without the help
  22. Its out the car and back it its box now im afraid , i do have these 2 but there not very good quality -
