Yeah, I was actually just thinking with people losing lives and incomes left right and centre, a “me” here or and “I” there, a missing comma etc. doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things does it?  I hope you, your family and everyone on the forum are doing ok in these in crazy times we live in now. Peace!

You’ve rather missed the point I was making about the scope for a degree of flexibility between perfect grammar and context in modern language.  If I chose to be the self-appointed punctuation liaison officer, you also omitted the full stop after ‘grammar’ and, preferably, the comma after ‘Sorry’.   

'Me and the management team.' would be ok really.  'The management team and I' is grammatically correct but sounds quite formal in this context.  Just avoid 'myself and 'yourself' when 'me' or 'you' will do.

Your “facts” are way off mate. Public sector employees, many of whom are working harder than ever in this crisis, pay exactly the same taxes and at the same rates as private sector sector employees.  Also worth remembering that most public sector annual salary increases have been limited to 1% for over a decade since the financial crash (so a pay cut every year when compared to inflation etc.).  The more people whose pay is cut the harder the economy will be hit.  
 

Now is not the time for finger pointing and resentment.

I had what I thought was flu about a week before the first cases were reported in the UK. No fever or shortness of breath, but aches, shivers, persistent cough, and huge fatigue that ended up with me being signed off work for two weeks.  My GP said she thought it was flu but I do wonder now......

I’m head of an office that deals with complaints about judges. Fortunately, we can work effectively from home. (I thought we’d see a downturn in complaints when people have other things on their mind, but the workload has stayed fairly constant.)  I really feel for all the people whose businesses and incomes are being affected by this situation. 

The smell goes eventually. 

Get a Zed but please contemplate one in a less boring colour ;).

Nothing wrong with a bit of football in the garden if you have a suitable garden, but the gardens where we lived were tiny and every time the little sh*t kicked the ball hard against the fence it sounded like a gunshot.  His other exploits included hitting our elderly neighbour on her back with a cricket ball.  No apology from the parents.

We used to live in a row of terraced houses with small gardens. Two doors down there was a family with a spoiled brat who repeatedly kicked a football hard against a fence and constantly kicked balls into neighbours gardens.  Parents seemed to think it was unreasonable for anyone to object.  One of the reasons we now happily live in a house with no immediate neighbours.

The brand of HFC you buy will make very little difference to how they sound as they all have basically the same characteristics when paired with an aftermarket exhaust system.  The car will be very loud on cold start but should then be fairly civilised up to around 3,000 RPM, after which you get a nice howl when you put your foot down.  
 

You will need to get the car remapped to maximise gains and at the same time you should have the relevant 02 sensor disabled to stop the engine warning light repeatedly tripping.  Bear in mind also that you are not guaranteed to pass MOT emissions tests with HFCs fitted.  I had Cobra HFCs on my previous Nismo. Passed the one and only MOT I had on that car with no problems. 

Fairly common issue on the 370.  It’s just a bit of condensation. Nothing to worry about. Should clear as the car warms up.

I did exactly this but found the A45 AMG quite sterile in the end.  Happier back I in the slower Zed.  Horses for courses though.

I've also owned both (my Nismo was a Mk1).  Visual impact is probably the main difference. The Nismo definitely handles better too, but there's not much in it.  Being another old git, I find myself preferring the less in your face nature of the GT these days.  

I had a brief break up with Zeds when I had the A45 AMG. Better car in many respects but lacking that special character Zeds seem to have.  I’m happier back in a 370 and won’t be moving on until I can afford something significantly better or a new Zed turns up.

Ive had good experience of using a cover on my Zs.  They work well if your Z is a weekend toy like mine, but not a good idea if it's a daily driver.

Yes.  It’s fine. You can also remove the third rubber holder and reattach at a different height. Sorry it’s really hard to explain, but it will make sense when you do it.  Key thing is you can use the Stillen with just a bit of tweaking.  From another Nismo owner:

NISMO owners installing Stillen Exhaust please read I spent many hours after the installation of my Stillen CBE onto the NISMO and had plenty of frustration with fitment. If you are having issues with fitment, this will hopefully shed some light. I had the left section of exhaust hanging down after repeated fitment attempts. After unbolting everything and fitting piece by piece to find where the problem was I found that there an additional bracket on the left side of the muffler section that was not welded but bolted on to the vehicle. The exhaust hanger will strike and create a good bit of tension with this bracket in place. You need to remove this bracket!  There is a 12mm bolt holding it, just take out the bolt and the bracket will be free to work with. Once the bracket has been removed from the vehicle you can then remove the rubber hanger by unfastening the 12mm bolt holding it to the bracket itself. You are then left with the hanger and two 12mm bolts, 1 short/1 long. Use the longer bolt to re-attach your hanger. Your new placement of the hanger will go where the shorter bolt originally was.

Zeds are certainly addictive.  Nothing I could afford wpuldvtempt me away from fourth 370, except perhaps a new Zed.

I had a Stillen CBE on my Nismo.  It will fit, but you will need to remove the rear (third) rubber exhaust holder from the underside of the car as the rear 'prong' on the Stillen exhaust is in a different position to the one on the Nismo exhaust.  

I had a Stillen CBE and Cobra HFCs on the Nismo.  The sound when driving was amazing but I was always a bit embarrassed starting it up from cold  Having since reached 50 and now living in a very quiet rural area I feel the sound would just be a bit too much if I added HFCs to the Grip. 

I was a bit underwhelmed by the Grip to begin with, having had a CBE + HFCs on my former Nismo, but the sound has got noticeably deeper after putting some miles on. It’s just right for me now.  I’ve had quite a few comments about how good it looks too.  Good choice if you want a sporty sound and can’t be bothered with the hassle that can be associated with adding HFCs.
