Hi I have just picked up on this tread and to be honest I haven't read every comment or mag write up.
But I do remember this car coming up in internal memos when I was at Toyota in 2008. The thought then was it would only be sold in north america and Japan. Has this changed?

Weston-super-Mare.
The Carrot. In one of the most run-down drug-addled towns in Somerset.
"A structure known as Silica was installed at Big Lamp Corner during 2006.[32] It is a piece of public art, an advertising sign, a retail kiosk selling newspapers and hot food, as well as a bus shelter. It has been criticised by local residents who liken it to a carrot or a space ship, although it is meant to symbolise man's harmony with the sea"
See I don’t mind that so much, as it has a practical use. but I wonder if the council would see it the same way if you applied for planning permission to have it in your garden!?

Have a great day

Toby, if you think that's bad, remind me to show you the Hartlepool Marbles - cost £100k for essesntially 8 metal balls.
So let me get this right, you want to show me your Hartlepool balls?
I'm not sure our relationship is quite at this level yet old chap

Couple of discussion points on this.
When watching the film HOT FUZZ (
), I learnt that the police don’t refer to incidents as "Accidents" as is implies no fault!
However, as a hypothetically counter to your argument.
If you were driving in heavy traffic, and you were afflicted with a sneezing fit, and as such you involuntarily shut your eyes and crash in to the car in front, could this not be argued as a genuine accident?
That's an interesting one....
If you kept a 'safe zone' around you then I don't think you'd hit the car in front.
I only mention it as a hay fever sufferer, and I have come close a couple of times, it’s very disorientating

Don’t know if anyone has seen or heard about this but I thought it was a fascinating direction, but strangely not that surprising!

People should be shot for things like that to cars like that.
Mad Max from and a faux Porsche 912 rear light WTF!!

Hope that works!
PART five of the dramatic build that is fusing a Juke with a GT-R sees Nissan engineers fitting the gearbox and drivetrain.
With the Juke being 250mm shorter than GT-R, shorter prop shafts had to be installed, while making sure that the car kept the GT-R’s rigidity and superb handling. -
Congrats &

As a biker I can safely say this guy is some sort of idiot. Firstly, theres a difference between riding or driving fast and driving dangerously - he is riding like a muppet in the clip there. Secondly, someone needs to teach him out to wheelie properly, he keeps trying to clutch it up in 2nd gear without any success. And finally... why video it and why upload it to youtube?
Back "in the day" me & my mates did silly things on motorbikes, but we never endangered anyone other than ourselves. Its one thing having a fast ride out on a back road, but its another being silly in a built up area and putting other drivers at risk.
Well said that man

At least these look like something, as far as I can see our new addition has just made the roundabout slight more dangerous to get around as now you can’t see what you will drive into.
As a small foot note, this round about was fine. Then some years ago some idiot covered it in traffic lights are prioritised it, now there is one accident per week on it!

Recently Aberdeen City Council spent about £60m restoring n old building. In my opinion it was worth every penny and the best tax pounds spent in my lifetime locally. The finished building looks absolutely stunning!
Marchial College in Aberdeen. Awesome! The £120k statue outside is ace too!
Fair enough, but this is sh!t...

Interesting stuff, but I have always thought that the manufactures have this technoloy they just dont want to use either through cost or their releationships with the oil companies. In hybrid car like the Prius the electric motor already works like a supercharger when the car is under full load so it's not a massive stretch of thought

Hi Martin
I now have several tons of scrap metal to add to the prize fund!!

Hilariously, this work of art is supposed to represent a “Corn fieldâ€
Fantastic, for a town which is synonymous with the steel and petro-chemical industry.
Still it will give the scally’s some scrap metal to sell on the black market for a bit of extra pocket money – no seriously they will….

Jim: Look at my hand. [raises hand and holds it level]
Bart: Steady as a rock.
Jim: [raises his other hand, which is violently trembling] Yeah, but I shoot with this one.
Same film guy in street:
"Never mind that sh!t, here comes Mongo!"

In the austere time we live in, can someone explain to me how £250000 can be justified on this monstrosity below. On the A66 roundabout over the road from my dealership
Any guesses as to what it is by the way?

Horrible, the poor sod had his whole career ahead of him too, just making all the right noises this season.
Nissan customer service aftercare experience ?

So pleased you have had a good experience at your local Nissan Centre.
I think over the last 18 month Nissan have really tried to bring the network in to line a bit, with the "Nissan Care 4U" initiative, seems to be working well, so far, but time will tell ultimately. The good news is that there is now more opportunities for centres to earn extra cash on CSI bonuses for getting it right!
I have never understood why warranty issues should be so hard to administer from a dealership point of view, its money for old rope TBH and a great money spinner for the centre as the money is paid directly to them from NMGB at a good labour rate!? Therefore in theory the only issue with some warranty claims is Nissans willingness to cover the issue as part of their T's & C's
