  1. Okay guys thought I had the usual blocked return valve as my front windscreen washer wasn't working, rear was okay and motor was working okay. Upon inspection when I pull the stalk towards me to wash the front windscreen there is a leak on the passenger side directly underneath where the wing mirror is?? The fluid tank is obviously on the other side so not sure why its leaking there and causing the windscreen wash to not work.

    Any ideas??

  2. As Will said, I would opt for a GT Coupe. Perhaps save an extra 500, and you'll be able to find a decent example.

CAT C/D and JDM may potentially more difficult to sell on.

    Good luck

  3. Hey guys,

I purchased a JDM 350z from the forum some time ago, I have only noticed this morning that I still have the Jap speedo cluster not the UK one! Cant believe I never noticed before!!!! and also the KMH on the cluster has had a black sticker put over the K so it now reads M/H, my question is... is my car now reading all in KMH and also KM on the mileage counter?? Bonus if it is obviously as my car has only done 36000 miles!

  4. Plastic bags over electric units and battery, slow running hose or watering can, couple old toothbrushes and then I use the foam stuff that you spray onto foot carpets over all the engine bay scrub it in then rinse off, repeat 2-3 times. Then I spray some back to black over the plastics to freshen them up, lovely jubbly.

  5. Mine are currently being refurbed as we speak and will be re diamond cut they have just come out the acid bath ready for final prep before the base coat before diamond cutting.

Nice! Where are you based mate and how much did that cost you?

  6. Looking very good matey, looking at getting my LMGT4s refurbed for summer and didn't want to lose the polished lip look but looking at yours with the chrome lip and sparkle silver rim looks like good alternative to having the rims polished up and lacquered.

  7. Takes some real dedication to keep the polished lips looking good. Check out bullet magnets wheels, he's just had the lip painted but in a chrome like paint which gives you the best of both worlds.

I'd seriously avoid going down the diamond cut option.

Hmmm, the polished lips are hard to upkeep and an absolute nightmare in winter, just didn't want to lose the finish on lip with spraying them.

Do like the look of BMs Volks with the chrome paint tho! Good alternative.

  8. Looking at getting my LMGT4s refurbed as 2 of them are showing signs of corrosion on the polished rim, first question is could I polish the lip up myself using some good metal polish and wet/dry?

Second question is have other people had there LMGT4s refurbed and have you kept the polished rim or just had them sprayed??

As just spraying them seems a bit wrong with the lovely polished rim and centre cap whats on them.
