  1. Okay guys the time has finally come: :byebye:

Shes a 2004 zed auto (imported 08) engine has done around 53k milage(has 70500km on clock but 46k of that was KM not miles when import happened - I have import cert also to confirm this)FSH just done in April, MOTd til March 14 (always passed first time), Taxed til 30 Nov13, sitting on 19 LMGT4s that do need a refurb as corrosion coming through on polished lip, I had the car 80% resprayed end of 2011 to get rid of all stone chips (there's probably about 3 now on the whole car) paintwork is as smooth as a babies behind, no dings or dints, black leather electric seats that I gliptoned with colour coded leather dye so look near new, JWT popcharger installed that gets cleaned and reoiled every 6 months, stainless exhaust manifold, Japspeed decats (I have original ones also), carbon wrapped lip, Nismo Carbon b pillars Nismo valve caps, clear front bumper reflectors, boot privacy tannoy cover, rear wiper delete, cobra thatcham immobiliser, honda stubby aerial,Z oil cap, Colour coded battery and brake engine covers, nismo V1 replica spoiler,Kenwoood double din touch screen DVD/Nav/Ipod/radio/reverse camera etc with steering wheel controls, car has been meticulously looked after by myself as I'm slightly OCD :teeth:, I have all paperwork for everything bought, servicing items, tyres etc. 2 spare keys, car has been laser wheel aligned also, LED lights all way round, I swapped the Jap centre console for UK triple pods so reads in MPG etc and has the centre cubby. Centre console and side button covers have been resprayed so no scratches on interior. Private reg not included.

Car is in fantastic condition and I love looking after her but the time has come for something new.

  2. Looks like my zedding time is coming to an end as Im looking for something slightly bigger and dare I say more practical :p

looking towards 3 series coupe territory, 325, 330i etc.

So before sticking up an ad with an silly price I was just wanting to get some advice from my zed chums, so here we go:

Shes a 2004 zed auto (imported 08) engine has done around 50k milage(has 69700 on clock but 46k of that was KM not miles when import happened - I have import cert also to clarify this)FSH just done in April, MOTd til March 14 (always passed first time), Taxed til Oct 13, sitting on 19 LMGT4s that do need a refurb as corrosion coming through, I had the car 80% resprayed end of 2011 to get rid of all stone chips (theres probably about 3 now on the whole car) paintwork is as smooth as a babies behind no dings or dints, black leather electric seats that I gliptoned so look near new, JWT popcharger installed that gets cleaned and reoiled every 6 months, stainless exhaust manifold, Japspeed decats (I have original ones also), carbon wrapped lip, Nismo Carbon b pillars, clear front bumper reflectors, rear wiper delete, cobra thatcham immobiliser, stubby aerial,Z oil cap, Colour coded battery and brake engine covers, nismo V1 replica spoiler,Kenwoood double din touch screen DVD/Nav/Ipod/radio etc with steering wheel controls, car has been meticulously looked after by myself as Im slightly OCD :teeth:, I have all paperwork for everything bought, servicing items, tyres etc. 2 spare keys, car has been laser wheel aligned, LED lights allway round, I swapped the Jap centre console for UK triple pods so reads in MPG etc. Centre console and side button covers have been resprayed so no scratches on interior.

Just noticed my post count also lol! Maybe somethings telling me to keep it!!

  3. Friend has a 03 RR TDV6 and has had quite a few problems with the brake sensor and also the air suspension, not sure if these are common problems.

Also dont get the cream leather has he has had to have the drivers seat replaced twice due colour from jeans/denim rubbing into the leather.

I prefer the RR sport tho interior is alot nicer and feels less boxey, handling is much lighter though.

  4. Good to hear your getting better mate.

Think the £250 excess seems to cheap to spending your time finding a decent door, fitting, possibly need a coulour match if paint is more/less worn. Id rather pay the £250 and have it out of my hair.

  5. I was qouted £900 for a 2nd hand decent set of brembo calipers pads, discs, lines basically everything you need to swap.

For me it was more the look of having brembos as normal road driving your not gonna notice any difference between brembos and non brembos, only on the track you will notice a difference. I spent the £900 LMGT4s instead :).

  6. Great results! Any particular reason you went for AG's polish and didn't stick to Megs? I can't argue with the results.....

Looks great! Any tips on how to tackle the engine bay? :)

Always liked AGs SR as it fills any minor scratches.

Engine I use the foam spray carpet cleaner with a paint brush then a old rag to wash it off the some back to black spray.

  7. After flying through the MOT this week and treating the zed to a service I thought she was due a detail :).

Weather stayed dry surprisingly, so started with a snow foam, Megs gold class shampoo on the bodywork and wheels, then a quick Megs clay, then some AG super resin polish, Megs carnuba wax then finished with Megs quick wax spray.

Did the usual tailpipes and engine bay also, got a few pics below (only iphone quality):
