  1. I would get under the car and measure the dimensions of all the suspension arms and compare LHS to RHS as accurately as possible.

My toe out issues a couple of years ago turned out to be the rear lower wishbone (cast aluminium spring mount) which had deformed slightly but was not noticeable by eye. At the time, I also broke the hub carrier, camber and trailing arms but these were easy to identify as most were in 2 pieces.

It's a harsh but good lesson to teach yourself to keep it to the track. Keep us informed of progress and best of luck fixing it.

  2. Did this drift day and all I can say is its the best fun i've ever had with the car. The Z really is a perfect beginner drift car, plenty of torque to initiate drift, good handbrake, predictable and reliable. Needless to say, i've looking for my next fix.

  3. ok, you were the chap following. When you parked up along side me I thought you were gonna come over for a chat but you went off to talk to some other chaps so guessed you weren't part of the forum.

I did like the scooby with the white wheels and the type r with the supercharger. Yours was looking good too.

Haha, I thought exactly the same, you walked off after parking up so I thought you weren't part of the forum, until I noticed the reg plate. Thanks, no where near as clean as yours. You must polish those nismo exhaust tips on a daily basis!

  4. think mine must of been the only one not to be photographed

I took a photo of yours :) (I was in the silver Z following you because I got lost)

It did seem like people were only interested in cars with bright colours and big spoilers. Quite a few nice cars like the S14, S2000 and the S3 that no one paid any attention to.

Condition: Item is straight and true, bit dirty but mechanically sound, no issues with fitting or removal on my car.

Location: Manchester. Pick up only unless you can organise a courier.

  6. Don't even need a glass mounted Aerial. I rerouted the original aerial and mounted it inside the rear cross beam. Picks up radio fine. Filled the hole to keep it all smooth.

You could then mount a fake arial fin on the roof if thats the look you want.

  7. Right !

I,m away for a couple of days but i.ll pm everyone when i get back.

Anyone reading this... suggestions for a venue... maybe a pub or hotel lunch.... short drive somewhere. ?

Lumley castle ? Riverside cricket ground ? Nissan factory ?

    meet up about 11 a.m. ? on a sunday ?

Was also thinking a further meet might be somewhere for a " working " demo on a difficult mod or even a simple one like a plenum spacer or cat removal.

    Any ideas welcome

    regards

Id be up for this. One vote for Nissan factory at 11.

  8. Strangely, I find 75 - 80 the most economical. Although this does go against the exponential increase in rolling and air resistance. I suspect it's because there is less accelerating/decelerating on journeys at slightly above 70 as most other road users tend to sit at around 65 - 70.
