Did this drift day and all I can say is its the best fun i've ever had with the car. The Z really is a perfect beginner drift car, plenty of torque to initiate drift, good handbrake, predictable and reliable. Needless to say, i've looking for my next fix.

ok, you were the chap following. When you parked up along side me I thought you were gonna come over for a chat but you went off to talk to some other chaps so guessed you weren't part of the forum.
I did like the scooby with the white wheels and the type r with the supercharger. Yours was looking good too.
Haha, I thought exactly the same, you walked off after parking up so I thought you weren't part of the forum, until I noticed the reg plate. Thanks, no where near as clean as yours. You must polish those nismo exhaust tips on a daily basis!

think mine must of been the only one not to be photographed
I took a photo of yours (I was in the silver Z following you because I got lost)
It did seem like people were only interested in cars with bright colours and big spoilers. Quite a few nice cars like the S14, S2000 and the S3 that no one paid any attention to.

The only Z photo I got:

Second dibs on the coilovers if Russ can't take them.

I have a "scoop box" on both sides. No idea what they are for.

The jobs you do to pass some time always end up being the most complex. Fantastic effort. Keep us updated.

Nissan did exactly the same to me. I had corrosion on the INNER panel of the bonnet, they rejected it because the outer panel had stone chips. They refused to give me any further help and hung up.
Honestly, a Nissan warranty is not worth the paper its written on.

Description: Standard OEM alu rear subframe removed from a low mileage 05 model. I then used the subframe for about 1 week whilst mine was sent away for uprated bushes.
Condition: Item is straight and true, bit dirty but mechanically sound, no issues with fitting or removal on my car.
Location: Manchester. Pick up only unless you can organise a courier.
Price: £150

Thanks

Don't even need a glass mounted Aerial. I rerouted the original aerial and mounted it inside the rear cross beam. Picks up radio fine. Filled the hole to keep it all smooth.
You could then mount a fake arial fin on the roof if thats the look you want.

Recieved my oil today with discount. Happy with the purchase.
Had an issue with delivery (Couriers fault) but Opie Oils excellent service and helpful staff meant the problem was resolved quickly. Would recommend these guys strongly.
Many thanks.

Right !
I,m away for a couple of days but i.ll pm everyone when i get back.
Anyone reading this... suggestions for a venue... maybe a pub or hotel lunch.... short drive somewhere. ?
Lumley castle ? Riverside cricket ground ? Nissan factory ?
meet up about 11 a.m. ? on a sunday ?
Was also thinking a further meet might be somewhere for a " working " demo on a difficult mod or even a simple one like a plenum spacer or cat removal.
Any ideas welcome
regards

Id be up for this. One vote for Nissan factory at 11.

Any chance you would split for the VS lip only?

The wing mirrors are heated. They turn on when you turn on the rear window de-mister. Took me 12 months to realise this.

Strangely, I find 75 - 80 the most economical. Although this does go against the exponential increase in rolling and air resistance. I suspect it's because there is less accelerating/decelerating on journeys at slightly above 70 as most other road users tend to sit at around 65 - 70.

Well done. You must have done some smooth talking.
Im still in a heated arguement with Nissan over my corrosion. They are using every possible excuse under the sun to why it is not covered.

If he listed it as "Rat rod", it would easily fetch another 30K

Bit of an update; new hub and upper wishbone fitted which pulled the alignment back to almost zero. Using my eye alignment kit it looks about right. Off to the alignment shop to get everything set up good and proper.
Thanks for the advice

Im going to take a bit of everyone's advice and replace the hub and wishbone then take it to an alignment shop.
I'll update after its been done.
Thanks for the advice
Rear Alignment issue after accident

I would get under the car and measure the dimensions of all the suspension arms and compare LHS to RHS as accurately as possible.
My toe out issues a couple of years ago turned out to be the rear lower wishbone (cast aluminium spring mount) which had deformed slightly but was not noticeable by eye. At the time, I also broke the hub carrier, camber and trailing arms but these were easy to identify as most were in 2 pieces.
It's a harsh but good lesson to teach yourself to keep it to the track. Keep us informed of progress and best of luck fixing it.
