  1. Buy one with rays, sell the rays and fit a wheel of your choice?

Pistonheads, Autotrader and on here are probably your best bets to be honest.

I agree, if you dont like the rays buy some different ones. That is what a lot of people do and is at the top of my shopping list :) Could get some good deals on hear and you know they will have been looked after :)

  2. What did you replace them with mate?

I'm sure Alex or someone will be along soon to give a more accurate answer but i'd have said make sure your gental with it for a few hundred miles and then it'll be fine.

With an exedy OEM clutch and A OEM dual mass flywheel.

Cheers mate, that is what i thought, means the trip down to the meet will be an easy one :(

  3. Huge thanks to the Ross at Japex.

Took my car in this morning to have my clutch and flywheel replaced and drove my car back to my house this afternoon as was at work.

Really helpful, explained exactly what he was going to be doing :and all for a great price and would recommend them to any Zed owner :)

Even drove me to the station to get into work :)

    Thanks guys

  4. Bah - man up and get a Scorpion.......lifetime guarantee so you'll never have to bother again.

Plus you'll do a sex wee every time you hit the loud pedal.

Great description :) I have a scorpion system and cant stop hitting the load pedal :p

  5. Scorpion cat-backs are well received on here, I fitted one last year and am really happy with it - not noisy, but frees up the V6 to sound like it should have from the factory

Fitted the same on mine about 5 months ago, i think it looks and sounds great :)

  6. Alright mate, i am in the same position as you and mine is going in on thursday. is going to cost about £500 to change the clutch (exedy), including labour and an additional £350 for a dual mass flywheel. Not cheap but would rather get it all done than have to pay for the labour again to change the flywheel 6 months down the line.
