Spoke to my insurance about the difference a postcode can make to an insurance cost the other day. The woman told me that one guy who lived in London, with not a particularly nice postcode, was looking to move to Leeds and gave her his potential new postcode to get a quote. Premium would have risen by £5000 That is from an insurer rather than a pub tale so could well be the case.

Don't suppose your gearknob is Alzean Orange and in good condition? If so, how much?

Has anybody got an idea as to where to get a new front near side wheel bearing and how much it will cost? I've just had to replace my exhaust to be able to put it through the MOT (£500) and now it has failed due to said bearing!!!! As much as I love my Z, it is a true pain getting hold of replacement parts and makes me wanna hurt it as its killing my wallet and patience recently . I'm in a bit of a hurry as i've got 10 days grace to get it sorted before the re-test so any help quick smart much appreciated in advance. By the way it's a 2004 plate coupe GT if that has any bearing.... BOOM BOOM!!

AFTER THAT I THINK THERE IS A FAIR CHANCE I WILL BE GETTING A LOCAL EXHAUST SPECIALIST TO CUSTOM MAKE ONE FOR ME. THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS AND HAVE MADE SYSTEMS FOR COLLEAGUES/FRIENDS OF MINE AND HAVE BEEN PLEASING TO SAY THE LEAST. FORMERLY KNOWN AS "PECO" AND NOW RE-BRANDED AS "CYBRAND", WE HAVE A MUTUAL INTEREST IN EACH OTHER AS THEY WANT TO DEVELOPE A SYSTEM FOR THE Z's AND I WANT A NEW PIPE. Need new exhaust. Would consider aftermarket if not too expensive, as stock exhaust IS expensive. Need help finding supplier/fitter and rough price guide and recommended make. In or around the Wirral/Merseyside area. Any help much appreciated.
