  1. Take driver and passenger strips off where the kick panels are.

Now take off the quarter plastics behind seat and beneath quarter windows.

    Take off BOSE sub cover.

You may need to loosen the central tunnel two bolts between driver and passenger seat.

Now take off lower rear section, you'll need to disconnect the 12v socket and parts of the passenger cubby.

You can now take off the piece of plastic you want to remove that stretches from behind the driver and passenger seats.

The problem is you have to remove these plastics in this order as each panel of plastic holds another in place

That's quite a ball ache for something that looks initially easy!

  2. Looking at replacing my speakers, firstly behind the driver/passenger, what is the removal procedure? i've had a search and can only find door mounted guides.

I've tried prizing the covers off with a flat blade, but they just seen to damage the plastic,

    cheers all

  3. I've been on the hunt for a CD009, seems the cheapest so far is around 1k, i figure the sellers realise they can mostly get away with it, regardless of how much its worth! i'll keep hunting though..

Today the box has been very nice to me, all slick changes...but then it does in the warm...come winter, its a miserable cranky old thing, really doesnt want to get out of bed!

  4. Just fitted mine, was about to rage that you'd sent me the wrong kit, as when fitted there was only a tiny gap when fully open...then realised right means right from the drivers side, not looking from the engine....DOH !

other than that **** up, it was an easy fit and very nice opening action, makes a surprising difference to the look of the bay, much smarter than standard,

many thanks....now i need more engine dress up items!
