  1. Booked the car in at Lockwood & Greenwood on Saturday to fit a pair of Berk HFCs! Hopefully I'll notice a good difference sound wise from my current K2 exhaust and Y pipe I've got on the car. I'll get the car remapped in a few weeks time when I can head over to RS Tuning in Leeds. Already at 295bhp having been UpRev'd, getting closer to 300bhp with the Berks hopefully!

Don't think there's anything else, performance wise, with an 06 airbox, plenum spacer, UpRev, HFCs, exhaust and Y pipe is there anything else that's worthwhile doing?

Next it'll be on to changing the looks, already got colours, wheels, bumpers and skirts in mind, time to get saving those pennies! But before that, a new headunit is next on the list!

  2. I posted this in another thread but I've copied/pasted it here

Whilst I was there the guy who I guess owns/runs the place mentioned they have a sister company that does vinyl wrapping. He mentioned £140 a panel and I think he said they can do clear wraps as I was asking about getting my roof wrapped as well as rear window tinted. If you email SGT you'll probably speak to a guy called Duncan, I think he acts as a 3rd party between client and business so you might have to ask him for this sister company. They took around an hour to fit my rear side windows with a limo black tint, decent job so I'll probably be going back for the rear window which was quoted at £50.

Ashley quoted me £1600 for a full wrap including door shuts and handles. This included £350 to get someone in to remove parts of the car so they could get in to warap it properly. They're literally a wrapping business so needing access to other areas costs a bit extra.

These guys are over in the Wirral, they do specify protection wrapping on their website. They quoted me £1200 including door shuts and inside the boot for a full wrap so I guess a clear wrap on the front end won't cost much.

They have a few places round the country but nearest is Manchester. Their work looks good looking on their website and they quoted me £1860 for a full wrap including door shuts etc.

  3. What the HELL is that plasti dip stuff? :scare:

Looks ACE... Might risk a couple of cans doing my alloys! :teeth:

haha it's all sorts of crazy awesome! Look on YouTube for all the things people have sprayed. Think I'm gonna get clear coat for winter on my wheels!

  4. I managed to find somewhere in Manchester that did my side rears for £30 and will do the rear for £50, so £80 for the rear 3 ain't bad! So far the two rears are perfect so I'll be going back in the future!

What's the rear like at night? I've got limo black on the sides but didn't want to get it on the back as I've heard visibility is greatly reduced.

  5. So after looking around trying to find the perfect solution I thought I might as well build one myself! I saw someone on some 350z USA forums so thought it can't be that hard! I didn't want anything sticking on the windscreen or poking out from the side, wanted something that could be easily hidden yet look good.

It's not the best of photo's but I'll get some more tomorrow with the iPhone in it, it's hard to take a picture of an iPhone in a mount with said iPhone :p The red ribbon is just in there for now so I can take it in and out when I want as it's not finished. Going to add a backing piece of MDF to it and wire through an iPhone cable from my new head-unit which I'm yet to install. It does mean that when I am out of the car I can take the head unit screen with me and put the lid down on the iPhone mount. Although I might take the cubby lid off and see what it looks like without it permanently.

So if all goes well this week and my iPhone doesn't fall out while I'm driving down the road, I'll have a nice setup in a few weeks!
