  1. Hi people, I'm looking for a bike rack that will fit in/on/around the boot of a zed. Seen loads online at various prices, does anyone have any experiences with any of these
  2. Thanks for the advice guys, appreciated as always
  3. So then guys, help is yet again required. car is driving fine, however at around 85mph ish (not on a public road obviously) when the car is cruising there is a strange 'whirring' noise. if i slow down, or accelerate the noise seems to go, beginning to worry me though as its definitely no a rattle or trim noise. could it be coming from the gear box? my technical knowledge is less than zero, so if i have not given enough detail please let me know. any help much appreciated Pete P.s. car is as standard, apart from Cobra exhaust - this was professionally fitted, and noise was there before it was added.
  4. looks awesome, will the steering controls and existing sub work? i have read that an adaptor need to be fitted to the amp to make upgraded headunits sound right? Pete
  5. Chris... Sorry I an a terrible person haha FUG, I will get pics up once completed, and I have learnt how to upload pics... I'll use the search button to figure it out!! JT350GT4, pics look awesome! Is it rude to ask how much it cost?? Thanks guys Pete
  6. So then, I have a GM grey zed, tinted windows, blacked badges, black front lip, and about the refurb my rays in a darker colour Has anyone on here vinyl wrapped their roof? If so does anyone have pictures they can put up? Also how much did it cost and where did you take it? I live in Colchester Essex. Thanks Pete

  8. i will take it for £280 delivered Pete
  9. Thanks DoogyRev, Will take her for a decent run tomorrow, it's possible I may have said good evening to Mr Beer now ha
  10. Doctor Austin, thanks for your help mate, wouldnt have attempted it without the nudge from you first. I have now done the dancing pedal routine as listed below if anyone is interested Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON†and wait 3 seconds. Repeat the following two procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds: Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD). Fully release the accelerator pedal. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking) Wait about 10 seconds. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink). Turn ignition switch to “OFF†position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone. The warning light has now gone, didnt really understand how to read the codes... i do come from colchester after all Next question is will this have fixed the 'problem' that the light was trying to tell me about? it may just be me but i think that the engine may be idle-ing a bit slow. Pete
  11. evening all i have just completed an engine fan refurb.... fans now work! success however i had to disconnect the airbox etc to do the fix, whilst the airbox was off i had to move the car a few feet. now that everything has been reassembled the engine warning light is no on... any ideas or suggestions welcomed thanks Pete
  12. I just bought 2 new rear falkens from camskill, £113 each, £30 to fit both. Had bridgestones previously, grip seems great from the new setup Pete
  13. Morning people, As the title suggests I am after a second hand back box by either cobra or scorpion if anyone has one laying about gathering dust.... Or is upgrading their current system Thanks Pete
  14. So, been following this since about page 15 - amazing stuff, although that onbviously goes without saying. I am fairly confident that you would have mentioned the following in big bold print, but I didn't see it. What engine has gone back in? And what sort of power output are you expecting. Massively exciting stuff
  15. try the knee pad on the passenger side, this sqeeks on mine . if you get somebody to push it slightly and the noise stops then you have found the problem. it will need packing out from behind
  16. Thanks guys, as always this site saves me an aweful lot of head scratching, Zmanalex, how much would it be for the bushes? Thanks
  17. Evening people, I have a problem where, when the car begins to overheat the fans do not always kick in. if they dont kick in a very gentle tap on the fan brings it up to full speed. i am pretty sure that i have seen a post on here about how to take the fans apart, clean and replace the bushes?! i do not have the time, knowledge, tools, skill, confidence.... or required temperament to do this myself. do any of the guys on here do this service, and if so how much would the cost be? i am based in Colchester, Essex Thanks Pete
  18. thanks for your help. i live in Colchester, and the car is GM Grey. i will get a couple of quotes then i guess. first quote was £500, seemed a lot but from what has been said its probably not to unreasonable Thanks again
  19. Evening guys, so then, one of my best mates managed to reverse in to the rear quarter of my car... excellent news i have tried to upload some pictures of the damage from my iphone, but the site doesnt seem to want to let me? anyway the damage is limited to scuffing at the bottom left of the rear bumber, no major surgery required i have been told. the only other piece of damage is whats seems to be causing the issue. the rear left quarter nder the rear light has been pushed in. it has formed a kinf of rectangular dent about 10cm long and 5cm high, the paint has not been damaged. i have had a quote that made me fall off of my chair from somebody i was told was good Question 1. how much do people think the repair bill should be (appreciate this is difficult without pictures) Question 2. does anybody know of anyone good in my area? Any help very much appreciated Pete
  20. Has this gone yet? If not I'll take it Please Pete
  21. Thanks guys, Feel much better about it now. Also I suppose if it's best warm then that's a great excuse to drive it more!!
  22. Hi people, Had the Zed for a couple of months now, love it. However i have noticed that from cold the change from 1st to 2nd is a bit 'lumpy' is this normal? seems to get much better as the car warms up. i have checked oil levels etc and all seems fine. car is driven slowly as it warms up and the service history and 1 previous owner would suggest its been looked after well previously. Any help appreciated Thanks Pete
  23. As the title suggests, after the adaptor. i have the wiring and holder etc. Thanks
  24. Steady Zeddy, do you have a full side on profile of your car, loving the V2, thinking about getting one too and my car is the same colour as yours Thanks
