Well done mate, looks great! Did you fit the popcharger yourself? Also, I see your car reg begins with OV54, which dealership was it registered at?
-
Yep I agree Common show us...sharing is caring
-
Ah...same set-up as mine!! Trust me they're worth every penny mate, the car looks beefier like it's been on steds for the past few days With regards to handling etc, I've not felt any difference though, it's purely for looks.

Indicators need to be amber but there are many members who've converted them to those silver bulbs which are still the same amber colour with a silver appearance, makes the car look modern. We are referring to the headlight side lights Cheers bud... me getting mixed up again Might try a set... Thought these might be worth a try... fiver for 8 .... they might be OK... or they will be REALLY bad http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0667214503 Thanks again No worries mate! I wouldn't risk it to be honest with you, they look a bit cheap and they will take 10 years to arrive. Just pay the few quid extra and purchase the ones in the link I provided, they will arrive within 2 days. To offset the extra cost, just don't drive your Zed for 1 day

Here you go matey: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/501-5-SMD-LED-WHI ... 4735wt_938 These bulbs can be used as side lights and number plate lights The seller will give you a discount on postage if you buy 2 sets, so you're in a win win situation!
-
What size spacers you go for?? Makes a hell of a difference! The number plate LED lights and rear OEM LEDs completely transform the rear of the car at night!
-
Yes...I did mine a month ago. Turn your wheel to full lock. remove 2 screws from the bottom of the bumper and 1 screw on the edge of the liner and bumper inside the arch. That should be enough to peel out the arch liner and squeeze your hand through. The sidelight bulb holders are relatively low so it's not difficult to reach if you've got relatively small hands. The bulb holder itself is the standard 'twist and pull' procedure. If you're replacing the bulbs with LED lamps. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THEY'RE WORKING FIRST BEFORE YOU PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER as LED lamps only work one way round. MAke sure you do the number plate lights too while you're at it, they are very easy to do and will be cheaper to get 4 bulbs at once...

Get the document reference number off the front page of the log book and full number plate. You can do a full MOT history check on http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/j ... equest.jsp. If you need a hand, let me know and I'll carry out the check for you and send you the history. This will give you the most accurate mileage verification as it's carried out through VOSA's MOT systems. With regards to the service history, I would call the garages up. I've done that before with my BMW 330ci M sport and obtained a lot of information about the previous owner, what they were like, their occupation and what they had done to the car. This put my mind at rest and gave me the peace of mind that I was buying a straight car. Best of luck, Hassan PS -

Thank you! I shall have a read through this when I finish work

How much does that wheel armor last? I'm hoping a long time if it's £35 a pop How do you manage to wash the wheels without it hitting the bodywork? I seriously need to look into purchasing some of these stuff...I cant bare leaving the wheels the way they are between washes, they look disgusting! I wash my car once every 2/3 weeks as I lack time!
-
That is perfectly normal on an OEM clutch/flywheel set-up Many people (including me) has noticed this noise. I guess i's just part of the characteristic of the car
-
Oops... What's the life expectancy of our LEDs?
-
If I left my wheels for a week, it would be too caked on to do a quick wiper-over. It would need a proper wash if I waited that long. Where could I get this gtechniq C5 from? So wiping the wheels with a damp cloth then drying it off is safe to do? Thanks!
-
Can you pls recommend any products? You wash your car EVERY TIME!?? How often do you use it!? I'm after a method where I can every now and again just quickly pull out the stuff and give the wheels a quick wipe and take off the dust. But I don't want to mark or stain them either...

I think that colour is called 'Brickyard'...very nice Only popular in America though

Hi all, I've always wanted to ask this question out of curiosity... Seeing as the dashboard lights are constantly lit with headlights on or off, what's the life expectancy on these bulbs? I've never come across any member on here advising one of their dashboard bulbs have stopped working, so I'm guessing these must have a very long life? I've only had one car which had a blown dashboard bulb and that was a Toyota MR2, they failed at 70k miles. I'm guessing the 350z run LED bulbs? Thanks, Hassan

Hi all, Since I had Ferodo DS2500 pads fitted to the fronts, the car has been producing unbelievable amounts of brake dust. I now regret refurbing my wheels in a light colour as it sticks out like a sore thumb! After washing it, within the first drive they are already powdered with dust. When the wheels are clean, it makes so much difference to the appearance of the car! The car seems to stay clean for ages, the only reason I wash it is due to the wheels being caked in a thick layer of black dust. I plan on giving my wheels a wipe every 3/4 days just to maintain the 'clean wheel look'. Does anybody else do this? I want to know what the safest and quickest possible method there is without damaging the wheels? I appreciate your help guys! Regards, Hassan

I've just fitted a pair of Kinetix HFCs connecting to an OEM Y-pipe and Toyosport mid-pipe and backbox. This combination sounds awesome!
-
+1 Yep...insurers are willing to pay up to 60% of the market value of the car IIRC, if the repair cost exceeds that value then it's deemed a write-off (cat D)
-
Best bet, I would pay a tenner and get a proper HPI check carried out on the car. If it comes out clear, you can advertise the car with the HPI certificate, which will potentially bring more interest This will save the potential buyer a few pounds - Very good selling point in my opinion (if it comes out clear that is which in my opinion it most likely will!)
-
Why isn't it good to purchase used HFCs?
-
Thanks guys for all your compliments. This is my first ever proper detailing attempt, I'm glad you are impressed I hate driving my car after a major clean, it's like taking hours building a perfect sandcastle then kicking it down right after completion! That's the one big demotivating factor of detailing a car - Not staying in that state for longer than 2 days!

Oh...so there's no point of me glazing it next weekend then? I glazed it 3 weeks ago. I thought I'd layer another coat of glaze and wax on top but if it won't make a difference, there's no point in doing it. What sealant do you use? I don't use sealant. I just glaze it then wax it. Am I missing out a crucial step? Oh I had the impression the HD wax lasts ages, which wax do you recommend then? I would love to see the paintwork on your car, sounds like you've maintained it really well! I would say not - you would be better off layering the wax up IMO as that is the protective layer. If you read the gumph on the back of the glaze, it is about filling and removing swirls and surface imperfections. The wax then 'seals' it in. So using it on top of the wax isn't really going to help - if anything it will cut back through the wax. Sealant is a step some take between the final polish and waxing. It is just a 'hard' coat, often chemical to protect the polished surface. I like using them. As for waxes, there are hard and soft waxes - and they are exactly that. Something like a Collinite wax is hard, when you put your finger on it it is hard to the touch and it takes some elbow grease to work it. Soft wax will crumble / 'melt' when you touch it. In fact, some you could even apply with your hands. Hard wax lasts longer than soft wax - simples. For me, P21S or R222 wax is soft and maybe lasts a week or so before the real gleam starts to fade. But it gleams nicer than the hard waxes I have tried. This is why I use a sealant so that when the soft wax deteriorates, I am left with and easy to clean, protected, still shiny surface to wash and then put the soft wax back on. Hope that makes sense!! Ah that makes sense! (Sorry I just realised you replied! ) I guess I'll have to revise my choice of wax and purchase some sealant! Would you class supernatural as a hard or soft wax? How often do you think I should wax my car? I've carried out 2 coats of Poorboys glaze and HD wax over a 2 month period (the first attempt I layered 2 coats of wax and glaze each, so you could class that as 3 coats of each in total), when should I next wax my car? About the glaze, yes you are correct about the 'filling and removing imperfections' so I'm just wasting it by layering it on top of the wax... I just had some Nismo rear spats and fromt OEM splash guards fitted which were painted last Thursday. Is it safe for me to give the car a wash on Saturday or is it too soon and could damage the fresh paint? Many thanks for your help in understanding everything Hassan

I hope it's not that bad and it gets sorted quickly and as cheaply as possible... Unfortunately I have no idea on a price but you could try ?
