There should be a big guy to toss her off the train and put the kid into sensible home with no hate filled parents.
"There should be a big guy to toss her off" ......... that should get plenty of hits on youtube

That women is scum scum scum. Makes me ashamed to be British actually. 99% of any encounters with people who have emigrated have been excellent and fair play to people for working hard for minimum wage. British society as a group are generally lazy. If people were so desperate for work they would take anything. Immigrants from 3rd world countries can find 3 jobs, how come a British citizen can't get 1. I undertsand that skilled workers don't want to work in lower jobs as they need cash to pay their lifestyle they had before leaving a job and in times of thatchers Britain this was hard, my old man was unemployed for 6months due to steelwork closures....
The people I'm talking about are the scumbag junky types.
I would drug test people while getting their dole money. If they fail then they get no cash only basic rations. Think of the savings the governent would make.
she's now been granted bail, so the meter is now runningi in costs us all in court time, legal aid, social reports and probably some prison time. Scum..., what chance do kids of parents like these ever stand

I think if scotrail or the authorities make the effort to track down the guy and prosecute in the first vid, then they should spend at least x10 the amount of time to track down and prosecute that woman.
In any case, he didnt assault a minor, I mean that kid didnt have a hard hat with a light on or anything...
Think i remember reading on the BBC news last week that this woman had been charged and was due to appear before magistrates. Will try and find out what the outcome was

cheers,
thanks for the link, spot on , gives me some comfort, they were adamant it needed a p3 at 3 years or 36,000 miles, so to know its 4 years or 36,000 helps me budget for Jan. Just need to decide who to give the work to

purchased my car from a nissan dealership a little over 12 months ago (1/12/2010)
It's a HR, first reg Jan 09
At the time of purchase, was little concerned that service schedule was slightly out of kilter but the car was the exact spec. i had been seeking and at least have the comfort of the 12 month dealer warranty and manufacturer warranty expiring Jan 2012.
So service history is as follows;
30/10/09 10166 mls P1
24/11/10 21188mls "Nissan inspection service"? -this was when i purchased the vehicle( )
20/09/11 29368mls P1 (as advised by dealer)
Now advised a p3 is needed at 3 year anniversary (Jan 2012), expected to be circa 33000 mls
Never had a vehicle serviced before within 4000 mls of last service so wondering whether i can wait till circa 36k before the P3?
If i should have it done in Jan, should i get fuel filter change aswell (service checklist suggests 36k)?, does it need oil and filter change?
Probably going down the route of good independant/specialist in Birmingham area rather than main dealer and will prob. source service items from Alex (inc. panel filters in advance of proposed Berks HFC's and uprev next year). Any recomendations? Think theres a thread about some guys at Coleshill
Cheers guys

Hadn't heard about that one either but v.useful to know.
You'd have thought there might have been some (or better) public service notices, ads or similar

I was on the M55 coming home from the airport and saw a crowd of lads in a beemer playing games. They would blast past traffic and then slow down weaving between lanes 2 and 3 and stopping people overtaking them.
I phoned the police and a couple of miles down the road they were pulled in by two traffic cars.
The police also called me back with an update.
Great work - well done those traffic cops and you for reporting them
Shame they probably just got a slap on the wrists
Have often felt the need to report some of the horrendous and dangerous driving we all see on an almost daily basis, however have always been reluctant to dial 999 as it's not really an emegency and would need to go through directory enquiries for the general police no.(then an automated service before getting to speak to anybody....lost the will by now) and thought that the police should have a dedicated no. like crimestoppers for these incidents.
What no. did you call?

How old is your car, if its a 350Z the warranty should have finished anyway
a few will have been registerd in 2009 and so may be covered with Nissans 3 year warranty, or it maybe covered by a dealers 12 month warranty.
Would be concerned it may void any warranty if it is a scheduled service.

Just had my HR engine installed and remapped at Abbey. Got 288 BHP at the hubs. I have Kinetic cats and a Miltek cat back exhaust.
Compared to the DE which it replaced, it's has about 27BHP more, is much smoother and the engine keeps pulling up the revs.
what was the improvement by the remap?
-
Thanks. I thought i remembered reading threads from Horsham and Abbey regarding some sort of preset reduced throttlle response in gears 1-3 which was improved/removed by a remap? now a lttle confused, unless wot is slightly different
Have had the pleasure(?) of a couple of Juke courtesy cars over the last 2 months and was wondering whether the remap gives the zed a throttle reaction similar to switching from normal to sport modes which made it surprisingly nippy from a standing start. on the same note, why is there no aftermarket throttle controller available for the 313?
On a budget, any worthwhile improvement/gains in going down Cosworth panel filters, HFC's and remap without the exhaust in the 313?

we have a networking group called the piggys club.(club ties and each has there own piggy no.).
Initiation requires eating a 48oz steak with the trimmimgs. it was like eating a Sunday roast joint with cold chips. My teeth and jaws ached for days and EH's analogy of a snake eating a deer....spot on.
Has broadened now to include 48 oz of sprouts (For the veggies) although no body has yet completed this, fish finger jenga (about 50 fish fingers) and a 6' long cumberland sausage. Like the tour de france, you can get different coloured jerseys for winning (red for steak, white for fish, green for sprouts etc), nobodys got the full set though!

What's WOT?

Always thought the same (only women or old blokes with caps need those.....sexist and ageist i know) till they came fitted on my last car that enabled me to park at the office and close the roller shutter door without getting out of my car 3 times to check i was within 1" of the wall.
Going to disgree on this one, great invention, takes the guess work out of parking and would have saved me a resprayed front bumper on my wifes Jeep if i had "heard" that low bollard. However, wish the zeds had a volume control, god it's loud

Have dilemma at moment, rears def. need changing (currently RE050A's all round) and fronts have limited life in them (only 9000 miles on them but caused by bad tracking). Could do without funding a change for all 4 this month and Selly Oak tyres in Birmingham suggested the Falken 452s or Kumhos, cost ~£120 for Kumho, ~£130 each for Falkens. Knock a tenner off each of those for the fronts equals a hard to beat price. Also full laser wheel alignment for £25/axle. Apparently you need to set the rear first, and then use the rear to set the front, damage to the front may be caused by poor alignment at the rear and hence there maybe no need to adjust the front. I think i understand the logic, prob. unlikely i will not need to have both done but at least don't feel like i'm being shafted (dealer quote at service for 4 new tyres and alignment was a tad over a grand!).
So plan at the mo. is to have new rears (Falken v Kumho?), laser alignment, get a few more weeks/months out of the fronts and then match the front tyres to the rears.
Any partic. issues with running these different sets of tyres in the short term or should i live like a monk for a month and change all 4 but lose some unexpired rubber?
Any long term thoughts on tyre choice? The car is my daily drive and only endures occasional spurts of spirited driving.
Done some limited shopping around and out of loyalty will go back to selly oak tyres but not sure anyone could beat those prices in any event?.
Also what tyre life is everyone getting? i know the biggest factor is prob. driving style but my old e39 did over 100k and there was still life left in just its third set of tyres!

Ditto, a bit fiddly but no tools needed

Please add me to the list, cheers, John

New wheels
in Wheels
Looks really , and against the Azure is prob. the best combo. Vreds help finish the job, great choice.
Can't believe youre thinking of lowering though, set up looks spot on. Would be interesting to see some before and after pics to appreciate the difference a decent set of wheels can make. A reminder of how good the zed still looks at 8 years old aswell.
Stay away from those kerbs!!!!

From experience (viz damaged roof box), the only real area of risk is the monkey enclosure. Not sure whether WMSP has still got monkeys though, think they had to be culled a couple of years back due to a disease. Bus is a good option though

Just dropped my 350 in for service at Colliers Birmingham. They had the same Gt edition in white in centre of the showroom, was a little unsure of the 370 when it first appeared but definately warming to them. Looked awesome (albeit a little small alongside a GTR!). Will have to wait to see where prices are in a couple of years but definately the one to have. Congrats
Hi mate.
My 370 replaced my GTR and its smaller size is its greatest asset :-) The GTR is an awesome beast but one hell of a bugger to park! It's a bit too wide and long in my opinion. I miss the horses though!
So why the change - GTR to 370?
£36,000 difference in ticket price would be a start!!!

Agreed, never realised what a big beast the gtr is until yesterday, consolation in a few more mpg though

2 services within 4 months and 4000 miles?

My dealer experience has been a bit mixed.
negotiated a price i was happy with, wheels refurbed to a reasonable standard, 2 new front tyres (re050a's) and serviced(?) before delivery.
Has had 2 window regs. replaced under warranty without quibble and courtesy cars provided.
on the downside, tailgate not opening properly...dealer said it was "alignment issue", not covered and £50 estimate for technician to fix. Thought i could do it myself for less and turned out to be a bent release spring, sourced from Alex aand at least saved dealers labour charge for trying the "wrong " fix. Also disappointed that at its first service the new Bridgestones were advised to be changed together with the rears after just 8000 miles due to uneven wear. Estimate for 4 new tyres and alignment £1100 my local fitters said still a bit of life in fronts, 2 452's for rear, full laser wheel alignment and a bit of change out of £300. don't think they did wheel alignment at service pre delivery hence dreadful wear
in hindsight, the dealer warranty counted for nothing as the vehicle was still under manufacturer warranty
