  1. The op asked a question. No need for all that.

The mods would happily lock the thread due to its content but at the same time they allow spamming and unreasonable bullying. I really doubt most of the comments would take place on a face to face conversation and I really detest the pretentious behaviour of some of the zed members here. Same old story about who obeys the law etc etc.

Rant over...sorry had a hard day at work and I am missing my zed which I actually took to the car audio shop today for a new dd head unit amps speakers and front and rear sensors! Oh yes sensors!

Now the op can pm me if he wants any details.

Sorry again if I upset anyone.

I dont think the OP got too hard a ride, considering he posted on a public forum about wanting to so something illegal.

wonder who has decats on this forum, saw a tread on z,s top speed everyone was happy to talk about hitting the limiter, window tints, to list a few.... the word hypocrite comes to mind... end of the day id love to go a bit faster on those long jorneys up the m1, especially at 0200hrs in the 50mph zone. :p

  2. i have this exhaust.....

and simply answer is no, i had to remove the diffcover and the exhaust has been cut and bent to fit around it, or as some crazy people do, grid some of the fins on the diff down, however i belive they are there for a reason so it a BIG no no in my book.

however it does sound awesome

  3. All the cool kids have black wheels witha polished lip ;)

I do prefer the original colour though, you lose a lot of the detail when you go black.

Soon I hope to be a cool kid, love black wheels with Crome lip,

    Love them mate

  4. I now have 255/40/18 Bridgestone RE050A's on the front of my car and 285/35/19 Dunlops SP's on the back and can confirm that:

    a) The traction control is working exactly as you would expect - Im surprised, I have to say

    B) I havent gone cartwheeling into a ravine and the car hasnt exploded yet.

    It looks awesome though :D

  6. It really really does depend on what you want it for. I'm into gaming and I know my 'onions' when it comes to working the power out of a PC so its a no brainer for me.

If you just want to browse, use iTunes and random multimedia then an Apple is idiot proof.

  7. Haveing only got my Z in the winter i cant wait to get down the country lanes in the heat,

My plan for this one day (sometime in july) is:

    0600-wake up

    0700-wash car

1000-morning drive. slowly turning up the air con as the outside temp hits 30(and traffic get worse)

    1300-lunch at local beach

    1400-go into the sea

1401-dry off as its still baltic (cold)

    1405-ice cream

1600-head home in the miles of traffic

1900-hit a clear country lane to finsh the day

    2000- pub

2200 getting a early night to do it all again tomorrow

    next day:

0600-wake up( realise it's now -2 again so back to bed and wait till next year)

BUT WHAT A DAY IT WILL BE!!

  8. To be fair there are a few things said on here that have to be taken with a fairly large pinch of salt... people have their opinion and then if enough people agree it becomes fact, then if you don't agree you are suddenly an idiot...

A very fair and valid observation :)

Simple solution, disconnect the orange wire, problem solved

the orange wire, is that a joke or a real wire

Sorry! a bit flippant, i realise that some people prefer to have the full or part function of the traction control working all the time

Ah theres the fun wire, I was just going to look for a fuse, glad you told me that,,

Cutting, or fitting a switch to the orange power wire to the yaw sensor will completely disable the traction control.

I prefer not to rely on the TC and disable it 98% of the time, in fact i don't think i have actually turned it on since disabling it.
