  1. I've had a quick look around a gun-metal one at an independent trader in Hook, its just over 50k and he wants £10.5k for it. I'm pretty sure its been on his forecourt now since Nov last year, so its either not on the level, or horribly over-priced. I am very tempted to walk in and make him a silly offer for it :lol:

    well if you don't ask, you'll never know B)

  2. A GREAT ANSWER

    A senior citizen drove his brand new BMW Z4 convertible out of the car salesroom. Taking off down the motorway, He floored it to 100mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left.

    "Amazing!" he thought as he flew down the M1, enjoying pushing the pedal to the metal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.

    "I can get away from him - no problem!" thought the elderly nutcase as he floored it to 120mph,then 130mph then 140mph :drive1 Suddenly, he thought, "What on earth am I doing? I'm too old for this nonsense!" So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him.

    Pulling in behind him, the police officer walked up the driver's side of the BMW, looked at his watch and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 10 minutes. Today is Friday and I'm taking off for the weekend. If you can give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."

    The old man, looked very seriously at the policeman, and replied, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a policeman. I thought you were bringing her back." :scare:

    "Have a good day, Sir", said the policeman .

    :cloud9::clap:

  3. I am so sorry to hear that :console::( I guess now if you have a real good idea of what you want to do and have a few years of knowledge behind you then go for it! I am sure there are courses you can do, or maybe even like an apprenticeship/earn-as-you-learn scheme

  4. Just as long as you realise TVR's are famous for being nightmares to keep. My uncle had one and joked that it spent half the time at the garage.

    I'd like a Tuscan but the total lack of everyday usability is keeping me away........

    .......for now.

    Hehe, and the price of fuel to run the thing too! ....I am aiming for a GTR in 10 years when they are cheaper, but then I'll just be making up the money I saved on the car when fuel is £3 a litre :bang::bang:

    I love TVR though.....but yes...I agree with James, known for their 'wild horse' qualities :cloud9:
