Hello fellow owners After lowering the ride height of my zed, for my requirements I am just after getting springs, so i am between Eibach and Tein, the car will be on spacers 25/20 (have rays) which I already have just need to make my mind up on springs before I fit them, ZMANALEX is going to supply them once I’ve made mind up, just have a few questions I am hoping people can answer or at least shed a bit of light From what I know already the Eibach ones are better quality and seem to be the ones to go for but i am concerned because on paper they lower the car more, at work we have some killer speed bumps is the difference between them that much once the springs have settled?? With the spacers and springs fitted i might have to get a rear chamber kit (SPC if need be) to bring it back into tolerance, if I went with the Tein ones would the chance of this be reduced?? Once fitted is there really much difference between the two regarding look, feel and drive?? Thanks once again for looking MuLL

thanks so far, that’s why I don’t want to go down the route of the K1 think I would do the same, there is a lad running one near me and I think it’s a bit over powering but that’s just my personal opinion he/most love it, I was going to go down the hi-flow cats/de cat route to aid which every system I bought but would only do that if I was going down the up rev route which I don’t think I’ll do to be honest but then again I was going to leave the car standard and that hasn’t happened but just for now want cat back, never heard about the amuse system how much are they?? And the hks copy what they selling for?? (Would have to do a bit of digging before I went for one like) any thoughts on the blue flame system?? MuLL

I am after changing my exhaust to a more performance based system, mainly for something with a more aggressive tone when you plant your foot, and after doing a bit of digging about the systems in my price range seem to be scorpion, K1, K2, blue flame, and some rip offs on eBay, wont to spend around 450/500 would love the HKS system but it’s out my reach, I really fancy the blue flame performance system which includes the Y pipe for around £475 (eBay) had one of their systems on a previous car and I was more than happy with it, just after getting peoples thoughts from their experience especially if someone has/had one, listened to some sound clips but it’s hard to tell but seemed to be what I am after pretty much, the same at idle and a bit more lively at higher rpm’s. Know a lot of people tend to go for a K1 but think that might be a bit much to live with. Hopefully if you could shed a bit of light/advice it would be very much appreciated, I have searched previous posts but haven’t seen many on the blue flame performance system which I don’t know if that’s a good thing. the Multicar policys with admiral are really good mine would of went down to 700 if my mini was on the road so could of had two cars insured for the price i am paying for one now

me and my 350 are with admiral i am 24, 5 years NCD protected i pay 1050 thats with my dad on like, but still would of only been 1200 if i was by myself i say only, but i dont think its bad considering the type of car.

thats the dogs, and something that could be massive especially with interior plastics etc never seen anything like that before would like to have a closer look at the finish, printing technolgy seems to have come on so much over the last couple of years, you seen that 3d printing thats really cool to. whats it like price wise?? just out of intrest. I was tempted, I have a lot of CF on the interior but decided that is where it will stay, not going to put any exterior bits on. Trouble is where do you stop? If you put the Mirror covers and pillar covers then the door handles will look odd... i know mate its a nightmare know how you feel, i am doing the same now looking at CF nismo b pillars, spolier, front lip, rear diffuser, you name it . i just cant help it, said to myself i woudnt touch the zed and would leave the spare cash for my mini but that lasted about four months, the next thing i know the post mans dropping off samco hoses, spacers, springs among other stuff that hasnt arrived yet clakie cheers mate thats what ive been thinking, sometimes ebay is to good to be true MuLL
