  1. Convertible Mustang? Most of the hire companies have these as options, Plan to do something similar one day, fly into LA, pick up the 'Stang down to Vegas, death valley, then head down towards Yosemite then onto SF then back up the PCH.
  2. It's mostly the A82 and A83 from Glasgow to Inverary. If your heading up to Fort William definitely drive though Glen Coe. On the way back down follow the A82 towards Crainlarich then down towards Callender then onto Stirling or something like that. I'd love to do a proper tour of up North properly one day. A weeks driving and staying in nice hotels, just wish you could guarantee the weather.
  3. What did the insurance company say? Will they pay out?
  4. Seriously why? I bet the conversion cost a pretty penny too. Whats the point in buying a car like that and defiling it so! It's not right.
  5. Just saw this Will, it looks awesome, congratulations.
  6. RXS I know what you mean about the zed, it hides it's speed very well, it does sound awesome though. Before I had the zed I had a Integra Type R (DC2), whislt not as fast as the zed it felt a bit more involving to drive and I love the b18 soundtrack. Would love to own another at some point
  7. The roads really are something up here, was nice and quiet too so plently of opportunity for some safe hooning. I did a supercar tour with a company called exhilarate scotland I found on groupon, got to drive a selection of rather tasty cars on very similar roads. I'll do a wee write up and post some more pics soon.
  8. Treated the zed to a bit of TLC and had the front end re-sprayed and the wheels refurbished, this is how shes looking now Been a great years motoring but unfortanately may have to put her up for sale soon as im planning on getting a rather large dog and I've no idea where the Mrs would go
  9. Hello chaps, I've never really got my self involved on here much so I thought I'd post some pics I took last year on a road trip to Inverary, show off the Zed and some of our lovely Scottish roads and countryside. I purchased the car from 350zStephen and was previouslyowned by MWTech. Stopped at Lochy Fyne Oyster bar on the way back and treated ourselves to this Wish the weather was like that every day.
  10. Sounds fantasic Will, this forum has a habbit of making my bank account significantly smaller...
  11. The weather up here is rubbish at the moment so don't think I'll get a chance to spend a few hours on it like I'd like to, ah well I guess I'll just have to drive it more instead How you getting on with the Miltek? Is it much louder than stock crusing? I'm tempted...
  12. Well so much for waiting 6months, purchase has been made....it's a members car too!
  13. It is indeed the same Richy! My god Will! Haha, what are the chances! I was just talking to Danny the other day about the old DH days, what a laugh. Hope you’re doing well mate, I'll definitely get involved in the meets, especially if there is a Scottish trip coming up, hopefully I'll have found one by then. Aww I feel at home already Thanks for all the hello's and Jay,thats much appreciated, I may give you a shout in the coming months.
  14. Hi folks, think it's about time I said hello after lurking for so long. After much debating I’ve finally decided that my next car will be a 350z, I've always been a bit of a Honda nut previously owning a DC2 Type R the next logical step seemed to be an S2000. I've always loved the looks and presence of the 350z and although a totally different driving experience to the S2000, just as much fun. I've been on loads of test drives over the past few months pretty much trying everything and anything but always ended upcoming back to the S2000 and 350z, more so the 350z. I had to sell the Integra a couple of years back when I first moved into my flat to free up some cash (some dude in France came for it!). I bought a Mondeo ST24 for £1200 as a temporary stop gap while I got back on my feet and now after some hard saving I'm almost in a position to buy. The mondeo has been a fantastic and its big lazy 2.5 V6 coupled with its bland looks have surprised a few ned wagons, but as you can imagine its doesn’t exactly feel "special" to drive, I never find myself walking away from it grinning and stopping to admire it's looks, 'tis an old Mondeo after all. Got a budget of 10k and ideally I'll be looking for a 2004/05 GT in black. Anyways as it’s a motors forum and I don’t have any nice new pics of a zed to share I'll stick a couple up of my old Teg' Always seems like a nice friendly, helpful place and look forward to joining the ranks of the 350z owners in the coming months, Cheers, Richy. Just a wee update, I bought Stephens zed (350zStephen) picked it up last night and been enjoying hooning about. Would just like to thank him for being an absolute pleasure to deal with and wish him all the best. Plans for now, JWT pop charger to be bought, get a couple of issues sorted on the bodywork and stick it through a P3 service. I've not had a chance to take any of my own photos yet so I'll just stick and old one up.
