  1. That sucks man sorry to hear, same thing happened with my mr2 funningly emough on the m3 too!!! god im gonna go change my oil now!!

if it is oil starvavtion what a bummer to go may have been an underlying problem somewhere else and was burning oil.

Drop new puppy in there and bring the smile back to your face

try breaking cars on ebay too they never get listed an as an engine and may come up cheaper if you can strike a deal with them

    for example

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breaking-Niss ... 20ba7f7592

  2. Had bridgestones before didnt actually mind them as they let the car go a bit but in the rain was dodgy they were on my jdm oems, then got Pirellis i liked them felt safer than the bridgys and still let car go a bit,

now got Rotas with super steels all round had them on for like 8 months now, traction control has not come on once at all, grip is great if you do spin up the wheels (takes some grunt) some serious smell of burning rubber is heading your way my missus hates it, never heard of them before i got them with Rotas and must say a very good set of rubber and still got some good feel of the road through them

  3. mine came back at £800 was lucky as the points and my cyclist incident went on there this year i thought would go through the roof!!thats good result mate

although interstingly when i asked to pay monthly it went up to nearly £1400 so had to fork out whole thing in one go!!

  4. Mines Z33 as i suspected , negative terminal is on the left hand side i wouldnt have thought you can stretch the leads the other way round.

But your stickers are same as mine

Also on the underside of your bonnet inbetween were the strenghtening bit is are there any stickers there?(though this may have gone if it has been resprayed.)

Im sure z33 = import as i done loads of research prior to mine and thats what i was looking for when buying and actually came across a UK fake JDM was really nice and gave no sign of import until i quizzed about few things i saw on forum and chassis number.....its all coming back to me now  oddly the guy never rang me back and took it off PH

  5. check your battery terminals if thats on the wrong way to UK its probably an import

but strange your tax is the same as mine and mines an import and i do remember someone saying somewhere about the different startings of the chassis numbers indicate where its from mines z33 too i think il go check in a bit

  6. ive actually done that before is painfull!! yeah il see whats occuring with them thanks for hint, you would of thought being my employers and the fact i need it for work they would give me another one!! not asking much really for slaving my guts out for them every week

  7. i broke my work dongle today into about 12 pieces taking it out they want £100 for a new one my question is its a nokia dongle with nokia software on computer can i just get another dongle from somewhere else and will be ok?? or does it have to be a nokia one in general if it helps the sim in it is an O2, so is the software matched to that specific dongle im asking really

  8. My ass still hurts from my cobra in my old car  and it looked just like that one but guess you wont really know till you sit in it as we are all made differently, generally is quite a tight fit with not much room for movement so if your body can cope being in the exact same position for a long period of time then i guess you will be ok but again depends on how you naturally sit and if it is going to force you to sit unnaturally, is there anyone you know who has one you can test?

  9. well bed the discs and pads in last night in my closed car park (well works) and to be honest there actually pretty good had no brakes for a while which scared me but soon put a nice layer of pad compound on the disc and stops like a treat, no noises, rattles, squeaks or grinding i still think ve got to do a few miles yet before i get full benefit of them but first off impressions ok, quite a bit of heat coming off them but was told thats expected

il keep an eye out for cracks but so far so good

  10. Oh god yeah, those are damn fine wheels as well a right bargain!

Yeah I didn't post a link up to the Stillen Air Intake I got for £60

I saw that you snake i wondered why that didnt end up on here  was a frigging bargain though i even said that as i watched it end thought it would go for way more!

  11. yeah im the same hate it when you find a hidden gem that becomes a known gem haha but all good in the love and war of ebay....coldel is your man for bargains ive seen many i didnt even notice from him but have actually saved crap loads of money from people posting up bits in the wrong section...if your bored at work search for all items rather than categorising you will be suprised what pops up in the wrong sections i.e my passenger door ive been looking for for over a year now at £100 for full door i almost passed out!!

  12. Haha i know there awful lot of brake dust on them once new door and bonnet go on waxed clean and polish all round,I may come to regret but at 40 quid for discs can't go wrong if they last a while,as upgrading to brembos I'd figure Il have easier time reselling oems than these so went for these for now, going now to bed them in either will be fine or will end up in one of surreys finest trees :scare:

  13. ok i read a few horror stories and some good ones about drilled discs but these EBC were snapped up cheap and my m.o.t failed my current discs so thought give it a go see what happens (have spare oem set just in case lol) oh and brembo upgrade going on the rear

got some endless pads on them and will bed everything in later if anything will at least find out if they are ok on the zed maybe usefull in future

(yes i know my wheels need cleaning its been sitting there a

    week nearly!!)
