  1. I hate to say it but a Focus 2.0 is a fantastic handling, if a little gutless car.
  2. The Bose in a Z is a re-badged Clarion and has a couple of problems .......... it's not that bad though IMO Ahh really nothing special then. Thanks for the tip. Hope you're not into Bob Marley ............. his CDs keep jammin on the Bose Haha!!!
  3. Heres the pistonheads ad; http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1794878.htm

  5. Ok thanks, hopefully I will buy one with some exhaust mods already done
  6. Nice one, thanks. a nice sound and a bose stereo!! Yeah, you will soon realise the "Bose" is sh1t and wanna change it! Haha really? I have only heard the Bose systems in Audi's and they sound great. I do listen to Mozart sometimes though!
  7. Cool, is that with or without the 'y' pipe though?
  8. Nice one, thanks. I have driven one before and really liked it. I have had plenty of super high bhp cars with big kick but that doesnt really get me excited anymore, I like fun in the twisties, comfort, a nice sound and a bose stereo!!
  9. Scorpion sounds great on the youtube videos but is it 'boomy' in car or is it quite acceptable?
  10. K2 for me, the big tailpipes on the K1 just don't look right on the Z for me, IMHO big cans are cool on turbo cars but not NA.
  11. Hi there, I am new to this forum, but not new to Nissan ownership. I have had a good few Skyline GTR's over the years not to mention most of the turbo jap sports cars, mainly 3rd gen RX7's which is the car I currently own. A bit about me; I am a teacher at an Academy school in Southampton teaching kids motor engineering. I am male, 30 years old and married with 2 kids (a third on the way). I am mad about Japanese cars and used to run a garage specialising in them, I used to import from Japan when the exchange rate wasn't so rubbish. I am considering buying a 350z as it seems a really nice car, usable for commuting (I have a shortish 20 minute commute). I drove one a few years ago when I ran the garage in Poole, Dorset and was really impressed by its muscular engine and a chassis that felt desperate to power oversteer. I currently have a 1999 RX7 with around 480bhp but I just don't use it and the fuel economy makes it unsuitable for commuting so I really fancy something that isn't slow, is fun to drive but is a good bit more economical to run. I think a 350z fits the bill, but I am also considering the E46 M3, Boxster 3.2s, S2000 (which I have owned before bit like very much) and the Z coupe or roadster of course. I would really like a soft top but I am not sure I am going to have the funds to stretch to one but we shall see, hopefully I will be looking very soon, my RX7 is for sale and I have someone coming to look this weekend so you never know. So what to people think, is the 350 for me? Cheers, Anthony.
  12. I really like this car, shame I haven't sold my RX7 yet or I would probably be on the phone. I like the mods, not too ott and I would probably do them anyway if I bought a standard car, I know it. I was wondering, I see the hub bhp on the tdi site, but it does not mention the kinetix plenum, high flow cats or induction kit. Do you have any idea what kind of power/torque output it currently has?
