  1. Hi GT4 Zed, I'm after a bumper washer popper for my '08 zed. Are the ones on offer off a face lift zed? Cheers, Geo
  2. Hi Aliensurfer, ZManAlex was my first port of call but a new pump is £153.27 & I only really need the 2 plastic rings. If I can't find a 2nd hand one I'll have to get a new one to get through the MOT. Cheers, Geo
  3. The pump doesn't have to work as I only need the 2 plastic rings (shown between the green lines) that attach the washer jet to the plastic tube that moves out when activated. Cheers, Geo
  4. Hi Zugara, Driving to & from work I'm normally half asleep. I'll try to keep atleast one eye open for you. Hi lilwashu, Nice Zed you have there :o) Cheers, Geo
  5. Sorry dude, Only just read your post. Vacations & work trips are going to keep me busy for a while. Cheers, Geo
  6. Spotted one Zed GK08 *** heading to the M27 Spotted another (with exhaust mod) pulling out of Whileley. Those two & my one all in grey. You guys on here? Cheers, Geo
  7. I live in Fareham & work in Havant. Busy this week though. Cheers, Geo
  8. Gents, You can get a Meguiars G220V2 for £146.99 (delivered) from Eurocarparts.co.uk with promo code service30. Dunno how long the promo code will last for. I've now ordered one for the same price as a DAS Pro. Cheers, Geo
  9. She did. I've never moved so quick! Didn't think this would make a good pre shower wash. Cheers, Geo
  10. Follow on from my daughters interest in detailing (link). I thought I'd let her have a go with the foam lance (on Mummy's of course): Video link Not bad considering I didn't tell her what to do. Cheers, Geo
  11. Hmmm... I did think about giving it a go myself. But scares the living **** out of me that I might render my Zed undriveable or not safe (can you tell I don't get my hands oily). I'll look around for a guide & see how brave I feel. Cheers, Geo
  12. Hi Vik54, I've seen zmanalex recommend pads & discs in a few threads. I just gotta find an indie I trust. Cheers, Geo
  13. Hi All, Earlier this morning my Zed had its first P3 service. The Nissan garage told me that I need new pads all round @ £364.65. What do y'all think? Just go with it or look for an indie (any recommendations near Fareham)? Cheers, Geo
  14. Hi Simon, I have a ginger Z a wave on the A27 last weekend having just filled up. Got a wave back. Was this your zed? I've done the A34 / A43 / M1 route a few times going to Derby. Nice route but gotta watch those cameras on the A43. Cheers, Geo Hello mate, Kat says she waved back at someone the other day, so it could have been I've just put some club stickers in the rear windows, so if you see it again you would see them. Did you know there is a meet at Port Solent at the start of June? Zugara is organizing it. See ya round... Simon. Hi Simon, I didn't know about the meet at Port Solent. I missed the one last year as I had to work. I'll see if I can make this one. Cheers, Geo

  16. Two good threads here regarding layering wax: Testing Results Some bed time reading there! Cheers, Geo
  17. Edited to remove stupidness. Thought this was an old thread. Turns out I was looking at the members joining date & note the post dates! Cheers, Geo
  18. She was using the snow foam run off on the ground Managed to get her to use the 1BM. Will have to work on the 2BM. Cheers, Geo
  19. Got to give my zed a quick wash over the weekend. Having just dried the car, I turned round to see.... My daughter using one of my brushes to detailer her scooter! Would showing her how to use the foam lance & clay bar be going too far!? Cheers, Geo
  20. I'm in a Nissan Centre now & asked about extending the warranty (my zed is just under 3 years old). I'm being told that it can only be extended at the point of purchasing the car! Oh well. Cheers, Geo
  21. You're going to love it. I had to buy my own; although, my Mrs just got me a Karcher extension hose. She must have heard me swearing each time I had to move the pressure washer. Would it be cheating to use the lance to make it a white Christmas (no snow where I am)? Cheers, Geo
  22. With all the reports of how bad the 350z is in the snow, I've been using the Mrs's S-Max. But this week she's needed it so I braved the ice rink roads round my way....... Not as bad as I was expecting. I could slip, slide & wheel spin but only if I provoked the zed. Mind you I was driving with as much care & attention that's humanly possible. One thing we need to remember is not to get complacent. Cheers, Geo P.S. Managed a 180 hand brake turn in the S-Max (empty snow covered private car park) at about 5 MPH. Was such a giggle.
  23. Hi bronzee, It kinda does. The tooltray covers the cloths it's not air tight but it gives a lot of protection. Now if this snow went away I could get out & use it. Cheers, Geo Thanks for the thread Geo. Mrs has bought me this for Xmas. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d.html/re ... B002STCCMU Oooooh, Just spotted you're getting the metal one. I haven't seen that model. Could you post some photos when you've unwrapped it? Your Mrs will need loads of wrapping paper as they come in big boxes! Cheers, Geo
