  1. It is thy Jedi Knight.... Light Sabre too - tucked up the sleeve!!

Good to see ya Dave, had a great day with your wealthy supplies of grub and drinks. Just been out for a meal, so photo's will either be tomorrow or Sunday, but more than happy for you to post a few if you wish. Your Zed turned out rather nice I must say.

Good to see you all, too Ian, Chris and Bob! Don't know about wealthy supplies - just a camping coolbox full of drinks and sarnies - but you're welcome all the same, it was the least I could do

Thanks again for the hard work - the car looks better than it ever has since I've owned it. Spent the whole evening on the web now pricing-up polishers and waxes. I always said I didn't have the dreaded zeditis

    Hope to meet-up again soon,

    Dave

  2. Well, I made a first visit to the ZedShet today, and let a Jedi Knight loose on my car to find some shine....

....but the results will have to wait for Wasso to upload them, or me to learn photobucket

  3. Like it could have been a Mini if BMW insisted on sponsoring the event - at least they're assembled here. Or even a Rolls for that matter - doesn't get more british than that, really.

Or a Honda or Nissan, assembled in the UK, and with panels made from steel produced in the UK etc.

Or a Jaguar, or Land Rover/Range Rover etc.

We still do some of this stuff really well, we just aren't proud enough of it to show it off when we get a chance.

That was my point really ;)

Still can't quite believe how heavily BMW feature in the procession, considering how many vehilcles we still make/assemble in this country - have we no pride in our manufacturing industry?

    Like??

  4. I saw it on Poole Quay after work this evening - had said I didn't really want to go, but glad I did in the end - good atmosphere :)

  5. If its blistering-up on the outside like that, its most likely that the corrosion has come through from the inside where the skin is crimped to the frame. I would get them to have a look and be a bit forceful with them, otherwise try another dealer...

  6. I haven't compared, but I think the difficulty is interpreting the flashes of the MIL, and not missing any blinks. The cable and laptop just show the code in the application window, so there is no interpretation problem! I'd be very happy to read it for you if you were able to get to Wimborne (I presume yours is a UK car).

An alternative is to do the 'pedal dance' method again and video the MIL flashes then post it up here - somebody may be able to help decipher it for you.
