Nice mods mate, how much did you gain from the remap?
-
I'm sure i saw some in the classifieds, have you checked?

As for speed comparisons, check this out:
Oh MY! that looks nuts! Cant even imagine what that must feel like
-
Woah! what speed are they flying around that corner?

50-100£ increase? My insurance has more than tripled over the last few years when it should have been going down! I think/know I must be in an area where this is happening a lot.

I Haven't put my name down as I'm going to probably have too much to drink tomorrow night (mates birthday), but I'll see how I feel in the morning.
It was a good turnout last time even with the snow

I have the nismo spoiler as well
how did you do that with the boot opening?
Followed this guide: http://www.350z-uk.c...showtopic=35706
Bear in mind that pennies might break through the plastic cover and damage your paintwork, so some people have used rubber washers instead. Personally, I went with pennies.
thanks for posting the link, this gets really annoying when i have shopping in my hands etc

Installed my first mod today. It was a big one, guys, you'll be impressed with me. Cost a grand total of... 4p!
Yep, that's right, I can now open my boot with one hand.
Another difficult project coming up, too - I need a stubby aerial and a tax disc holder!
I have the nismo spoiler as well

Sounds interesting
So did you use an off the shelf box or build a custom one ? Is the sub driver mounted where the old one was ? Any pics ?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks
Had the box built but its pretty simple. I just slid the box in with sub facing upwards, I'll take a pic for you when i go out today

Probably will always be my longest owned car 2000-2013 the baby m3 318is

I might try that as well, which wires feed the speaker and where behind the dash did you fit it?
-
The sat nav runs into the stereo so it wont be easy or feasible imo.
I think you're better off leaving the top cubby and just swapping out the bottom for all in one unit will be better anyway. I picked up a good deal on a pioneer with sat nav and phone integration.

I've managed to fit a sealed box and 10" sub in the hole where the bose sub was, doesn't get the cabin gain boost effect from having the sub in the boot but its still decent.

Hmm, that's really nice , presumably that's a respray ?

Welcome to the Forum, Hope you dont get anymore vandalism on your car mate.

If you're gonna use the bose speakers and amp it wont be that loud as the bose needs quite a high input. Alot of us mod the speaker output from the headunit into the rcas to make it louder, in which case you wont need to worry about pre outs for now.
