  1. I was thinking for a few quid extra I'd rather have some surplus bits and a perfect fit than cut it - or are the edges well hidden by the HU?

    Just found the HU really cheap somewhere :)

    The edges apart from the bottom are well hid by the HU. For the bottom my installer put a bit of felt inbetween, have to put it back every time I take out the console surrounding the gearknob.

  2. After dropping the allen key down between the rubber cover on the handbrake :rant::angry: and having to take apart the centre console to retrieve it, managed to fit the handbrake cover w/the alcantara gaiter I got :thumbs:

    If you're thinking of using the allen key that richbrook give you, don't, use a long one which can't fall down :lol:

  3. Totally agree, I LOVE the look of them... but they are CRAZY CRAZY prices! :headhurt:

    I think either 5 or 6 spokes look the best on the 350's... I also love "deep-dish" alloys (not sure how good they look on the Zed)

    Thing is, my current alloys fit what I want... but they are a strange size and badly scuffed :(

    I do like the idea of a dark/black matt alloy..... suggestions people?

    Thought they were cheaper than regular te37's and I think since you'll have to preorder them in 19" you may get a discount?

    How do you like the looks of work t1s varianzas?

    IMHO they're very very nice, have nice dish, not quite volk prices but close, they do them in matte black or diamond cut and black. Think they look stunning in diamond cut with black on an azure zed.

    Mine are fairly deep at I think it was 5.25" dish at the back?

  4. Would like them to look "OK" even in the winter....

    Rather than looking like "I" scuffed the fook out of them!

    Is this just plain crazy?

    Yes yes yes!!! Do it. If I had a GM it would be the choice for me B)

    If you're gonna respray the car black, green:

    Otherwise I'd save the moolah towards another set of wheels :thumbs:

  5. Because you get 99% of the petrol engine,for 1/2 the price of fuel. :yahoo: A diesel engine dont drive like a petrol engine,its what you prefer i suppose,but id chose the noise of a petrol engine over a diesel any day.

    Does it still sound and have the reliability of a standard petrol engine?

  6.

    :boxing:

    Anyway I can proudly reveal my new wheels...

    That's a massive improvement upon the cayman you were looking at ;):lol::p

    IMHO caymans just look like any other porsche and the 370z isn't *that* interesting to look at either. Corvette for me, from the front, sides, back B):lol::thumbs:

    Or, a roush mustang :thumbs:

  7. I'm not a wheel whore..... unlike some :p:lol:

    Needs some interior CF though :blush:

    I like shiny things :blush::lol:

    You carbon fibre hoe :lol::p

    IMHO the only materials in porsches should be alcantara and leather, after being in a track prepped gt3 :thumbs:

    Why is it these wheels pop up on pretty much any car?

    For a cayman, I wouldn't mind this one (note the wheels :p:lol: ):
