Only when you get some decent wheels fella
The bay actually for the gaiters and amazon for the cover
-
Surface corrosion on the discs from moisture? I.e. Perfectly normal
-
I was thinking for a few quid extra I'd rather have some surplus bits and a perfect fit than cut it - or are the edges well hidden by the HU?
Just found the HU really cheap somewhere
The edges apart from the bottom are well hid by the HU. For the bottom my installer put a bit of felt inbetween, have to put it back every time I take out the console surrounding the gearknob.
-
This one?
Wouldn't that mean cutting the middle bit out?
Indeed
-
The ICT facsia is not the right one for a double DIN.
You only need the frame for the double, the pocket and single din stuff will be surplus to requirement.
Do you have a linky?
It's in the sticky?

After dropping the allen key down between the rubber cover on the handbrake
and having to take apart the centre console to retrieve it, managed to fit the handbrake cover w/the alcantara gaiter I got
If you're thinking of using the allen key that richbrook give you, don't, use a long one which can't fall down

Here's one:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer ... 00dvd.html
Caraudiocentre have it cheaper but from what I've heard they don't exactly have the best rep.
-
but to be honest i think if the door cards had been done it would of been to much as i like a contrast
next on the cards is bucket seats, Takata harness, sparco wheel, carbon dash kit and maybe a new carbon gear knob
Fair enough
Ahh takata harnesses, yes, on black, yes yes yes

Sorry to say, I don't like those....
No taste

Mate, if you really want to see a set of TE37 Super Laps then you could always buy me a set and I will sport them on my 370
I don't want to see them *that* much
-
I don't think "split" spokes suit the car myself... just want either a 5 or 6 "solid" spoke.
Will get a proper quote on the TE37 SL's
Hmm, oh well.
-
Totally agree, I LOVE the look of them... but they are CRAZY CRAZY prices!
I think either 5 or 6 spokes look the best on the 350's... I also love "deep-dish" alloys (not sure how good they look on the Zed)
Thing is, my current alloys fit what I want... but they are a strange size and badly scuffed
I do like the idea of a dark/black matt alloy..... suggestions people?
Thought they were cheaper than regular te37's and I think since you'll have to preorder them in 19" you may get a discount?
How do you like the looks of work t1s varianzas?
IMHO they're very very nice, have nice dish, not quite volk prices but close, they do them in matte black or diamond cut and black. Think they look stunning in diamond cut with black on an azure zed.
http://www.workwheelsusa.com/product.ph ... 4&wheel=50
Mine are fairly deep at I think it was 5.25" dish at the back?
-
Oh and OT but whats with the side z badge or lack thereof?
I'd still like to see a zed on the new te37 super laps in the UK.
-
Would like them to look "OK" even in the winter....
Rather than looking like "I" scuffed the fook out of them!
Is this just plain crazy?
Yes yes yes!!! Do it. If I had a GM it would be the choice for me
If you're gonna respray the car black, green:
Otherwise I'd save the moolah towards another set of wheels
-
Because you get 99% of the petrol engine, for 1/2 the price of fuel.
A diesel engine dont drive like a petrol engine, its what you prefer i suppose, but id chose the noise of a petrol engine over a diesel any day.
Does it still sound and have the reliability of a standard petrol engine?
-
I don't get LPG, you get diesel if you want economy, petrol for fun, why LPG?
-
Anyway I can proudly reveal my new wheels...
That's a massive improvement upon the cayman you were looking at
IMHO caymans just look like any other porsche and the 370z isn't *that* interesting to look at either. Corvette for me, from the front, sides, back
Or, a roush mustang

Anyone got popcorn?

Happy birthday fellas!

Welcome.
The following guide may help.
Remove unit from car and insert into nearest wheelie bin. They are a pile of crap and not even Bose.
+1, I've heard they're good for keeping warm outside this time of year if you then set fire to the bin?
-
Rising Power & AttakZ both nice cars both have 4 seats
Urr, it's a - they have 4 seats?
Hmm....
-
I thought it was just a question of falling in and out at the right angle?
Is that not an art form?????
Parkour?
-
I just want an upgrade on the Zed that I can use everyday if the mood takes me, similar or better performance / noise etc.
From my perspective, porsches are a bit muted, but that'll suit you mate, bwahaha
I don't however like those wide arch kits, imho if they don't blend it looks like stuck on tat.
However, if you don't like this dave, I give up
-
I'm not a wheel whore..... unlike some
Needs some interior CF though
I like shiny things
You carbon fibre hoe
IMHO the only materials in porsches should be alcantara and leather, after being in a track prepped gt3
Why is it these wheels pop up on pretty much any car?
http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/2297831.htm
For a cayman, I wouldn't mind this one (note the wheels
):
Handbrake now done

Haha, they're the ebay gaiters
