Anyone know if its easy or hard to remove front and back window wiper and how to do it ?

just been to a body shop and he wants to drill 2 holes in the skirt. Says it will fix it permenatly or he can just fill it which might come loose again. Seems a bit over kill...

I have a fairlazdyZ, the main things i noticed about it are the indicators and wipers are the wrong way round.
