  1. i am looking into an alternative route to the 66 for more funsies. not sure it will be worth the effort though

Its deff not worth the effort on a Friday.

I'll look at it later on when I get a chance, but I suggest we aim to get across and meet up with Jay and George for lunch.

I'll ypdate the NE thread, and make sure Woody knows.

yeah you're probably right. I'm happy to meet up for lunch on the Friday.

  2. if you do order from them just make sure they will give a full refund if the fitment is too bad. when paying low prices for replica kits you have to expect a bit of work will be needed

also when delivered make sure you unpack and check for damage before the driver leaves. that way if its bad you can send it back.

photos too. get loads of photos of the state in which its delivered and how it looks when you trial fit it. any issues send them the pics.

hopefully someone has used them and will come along and tell you they are good. or bad. at least so you know either way

  3. its a joke isnt it then they say 'oh well we cant guarantee it will be there before 12pm....then why do you tell me and advertise it will????

haha my gf just told me same thing i gotta build a chest of drawers now, positioned cat by the door he will make enough noise if someones there

you have a guard cat??? that is awesome!

  4. Haven't got access to a costco, but found the same one (I think) on e-bay (item no 250822174977). Anyone know if costco still do them and what the price is now (and how I can get one), or should I get this one off e-bay?

Need a low entry jack as mine has barely 10 cm of clearance at the sides.

    Thoughts?

someone clearly did a few trips to costco and then stuck them on ebay for a profit. smart move. dont know if costco still do them like. isnt one near me

  5. Im going to start on a sweepstake on what car I'll be in......I'll stick to the drinking.

    Choices so far are;

    VXR8

    Pug 406 coupe

Corsa (courtesy car I finally got last week)

    Megane (best mates)

well i had a bet on with Lee you would have the r8 back about 5 weeks ago so i clearly lost that one. also means i wont be voting for it (shame as i havent seen it yet :( )

i reckon the megane, you will probably have a fair bit of stuff to take with you.

  6. Biscuit and Husky popped in one the way home and i have to say the car is lovely.

I have always liked them and if it wasnt for just getting the new zed i would definately be more than a little jealous.

the wheels are B) and the whole car will look amazing once polished up and given that little bit of required tlc

good purchase mate. glad you are happy

Depending how I feel in the morning I might have a spin to test out my new nitrous install :yahoo:

the roads might be a little twisty to be testin that out like neil.

lookin forward to this meet like

  9. But nuclear power still requires Uranium doesn't it? Surely they're not carrying enough Uranium to cover 20 years of constant travelling!

Thats beyond impressive if it does.

Thats the joy of nuclear. One fuel load could last 20 years no problem. Same with power stations (which it basically is). No need to carry extra fuel.

Just a shame about the radioactive ooze that it produces that takes a squillion years to decontaminate! Maybe they could enlist your help Andy and create a wind turbine powered aircraft carrier

hmmm, wind power. how has no one ever thought of that before for a boat???

  10. i would get an older house and make sure you get a good survey done.

when we moved house we got a nice big house with a massive garden for half what it wouldve been for the equivalent size new build. surveyer missed a damp issue in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms though. so that is gonna cost us when we get it sorted soon :headhurt:

did you had a full survey? if so are they not liable for not picking up on it

might be worth lookin into, tis my older bro's house (he lives in australia) so will have to get him to look into the documents
