P.s. Don't know why these got missed out, but 2 favourite shots.
-
Only two of us went this year, so it was more slope focused. Going again next year and there should be 10+ so I'd imagine we'll be venturing out for the nightlife a bit more often!
I'll keep La Plagne on the list, along with Livigne, St.Anton, Saalbach.

Cool shot Crumb, where did you board?

Too right, I can't recommend it enough!! Really good excercise, great time away from the UK and most importantly a hell of a lot of fun!! Great to take your mind off of things.
How did you find France VR46? I went to Tignes in March 2010 and whilst great fun, it was all white, pretty busy and expensive. I can say Italy in Jan wasn't busy at all, not overly expensive and the tree lined runs really break it up nicely .
The snow plough on the building is actually a Piste Basher that can transfer a substantial party of people up or down the slopes when needed...like a bus effectively!

Thanks for sorting it AK!
Cheers guys! I'd advise anyone going on a ski holiday to invest in a goPro camera though!! Such a pain having to keep taking cameras out of bags and being careful, etc!

First off, reason i've been missing from the site for a while is that a 2 year relationship with my g/f ended just before Christmas last year. Had a pretty bad time regarding it all and couldn't have come at a worse time; back at college and no job currently.
Been through alot and had the opportunity to go boarding in Italy last week with a friend. Just what I needed and really helped to clear my head and help me get over things.
Location was Sauze D'Oulx and I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking or considering a ski holiday.
So in true fashion, here are some pics!! Enjoy!! (oh and the chairlift one shows how cold Wednesday was).

Mk1 Escort beats any since!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Button 1st with competition from Webber as I believe Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel will be squabbling between themselves. Just my 2 cents though

Kimi's radio talk was legendary!! .
Never seen such a move from the back to the front???....Need I remind anyone of Canada 2011, Button!

My better half pulled me from a dribbling mess in a nightclub :-D

I can slacken the forks as the frame has a tube 'inside' the head-tube that, by twisting it 180deg it will change the front geo. Although I don't know enough about geo settings to merit going crazy on it, I just ride the thing! .
Gotta say though, everything has held together well and there have been no issues on the two rides I've taken it out on so far.

Finally after sourcing all the parts at the cheapest cost to myself I have built my dh bike.
The front caliper mount had to be fabricated by a competant person as Hope never actually made an adaptor for this particular caliper.
What I will say is that anyone interested in building a bike from scratch /parts. Do your research as half the parts you need won't be right and the other half will never have been made!!
Old /donor bike:
Fabricated front caliper mount:
Completed! :
Only problem at the moment is the weather and clay ground

I'll be the first one to say not my cup of tea, but good on you for picking something different to the norm!

I'd bite your hand for this...if i was not at college!

Uprev will give you a slight improvement in driveability Phil, but the best gain is to forge/turbo/supercharge if you want the best out of the V6!
