whenever i drive past the uni or town i always notice the japanese/chinese/oriental appearence students staring....they luv it lol

Ha ha, i've had that before... I feel like they're looking at me with a look of disdain on their face, that im profiting from their country's coolness!!

just had to google the definition of disdain  ..........................and yeh i agree

  4. But in my Dining room is new springs, V3 body kit, rear Wing, vented bonnet n Carbon fibre interior..so was gunna post pics as an after shot. :yahoo:

friggin ell...gonna look sweet once all thats sorted...will look out for the pics, i didnt think i'd change anything on me zed.....now im getting worried....

  5.

Here you go, 20" inch Axis Penta's on standard suspension, with 20mm spacers. Bought these secondhand and have had the outer lip refurbed since this photo was taken. Offsets on the wheels are 25, might struggle to clear the brembos without the spacers. The EBay ones are Vertini, I've got a different model Vertini on mine, seem to be quite well made.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19%22-NISSAN-350Z ... f6ffed5e2c

couple of things i was wondering...

would i need to lower? has anyone got some pics of aftermarket rims on the standard setup?

are they a known rim or cheap ebay trash?

what the consenus on what to go for ...19s or 20's?

  7. No they will unlock it for you to all networks, they did this for free once the iphone came available on all networks, you could take your O2 iphone and get it unlocked.

just spoke to apple and they were about as much use as an ejector seat in a helicopter

  8. search greenposion --- Install on phone --Which inturn installs cydia

Enter cydia and install ultrasnow unlocker ...

    All done mate..

To restore your phone to normal plug into itunes and restore or reset settings on phone

Its as easy as peas !!!!

would this method screw the warrenty?

  9. got an Iphone 4 :yahoo: on Orange and needing it unlocked (legit way) on Tmobile, Orange say ive got to register a sim with them, wait 3months, then pay em £20 and they'l unlock it .........dont wanna wait 3months so logged a complaint as feel their taking the p!ss as tmobile/orange are under the same ownership now

    anyone got any advice?

  10. The modem came in ontime and today i installed it within 5mins and it works without issues and faster than BT by far. So what's the catch? if SKY s using BT lines why am i seeing faster speeds

    the possibilities are ...

    router

    filters

    line reset...or a combo of all 3

Speed could be down to Sky using Local Loop Unbundling with their own equipement in the cab rather than BTs old cack, you get better speeds.

good call  - check here to see if sky operates LLU in your area

  11. not bad price on ebay,

tempting; i suppose it cuts out the need to jack up a car etc.

good price on ebay but why wouldnt you cut all the hassle and let national sort it? its probably cheaper than a can of oil from halfrauds!

i get to choose and supply my own oil; i know who's done the job and that its done properly.

to be honest i doubt i'd get it as i only change the oil at service time and then my very good motorsport mechanic friends do it.

if i tracked the car more and wanted to change the oil every 2.5 then it would be a good investment.

fair point regarding what oil you put in and that the jobs done properly (i'd like to think the guys at national could change oil without any drama but then again im sure they could prove me wrong)

to be honest the ebay one is a v good price  - iirc paid over 50 quid for mine a couple of yrs ago

  13. Cant really see how this will work. For a start the tube will have to be tiny to go through the dipstick hole and surely it will take an age to suck out? And how can you be sure that whatever you stick in to suck the oil out that it will be low enough in the sump to suck all the oil out?

Just do the job properly ;)

takes about 10mins to suck majority of the oil out

And how can you be sure that whatever you stick in to suck the oil out that it will be low enough in the sump to suck all the oil out?

you'l be able to see how many litres of oil has been extracted from the container, once all/most of the oil has been extracted you'l hear a "slurping" noise to imply completion, wipe off any excess mess with kleenex job done

  14. has anyone used one of those vacuum pump oil extractors

it sucks the oil through the dipstick hole into a container

looks easier than crawling under car

got one - v easy to use, iv never experienced it spilling on the engine bay!.. however never felt satisfied all the old oil is extracted in comparison to the standard way of changing oil - ive always used it inbetween services so guess its not the end of the world if some only oil is mixed in with new - not used it on the zed yet - and to be fair i probably wont as nowadays i generally visit to national as they change oil and fiter for about £35 ......bargain
