  1. Good Afternoon All.

Just to give you some info about the next Opentrack day which is in July at Cadwell Park.

The main aim of the track days is to have fun with like minded people on good circuits where we don't have to worry about all the things that we now see on the roads. Like speed cameras, poor driving, lorries , school buses and even motorbikes ( but i like bikes ) .

I have a day at Cadwell Park on July 20th it will be a Open Pit Lane event so you can come and go as you like during the day the track will open at 09.00 for sighting laps and then close at 17.00 Hrs with a hour for lunch as well in the middle of the day.

Cadwell is a great track ! one on the best in the uk and a joy to drive.

Free tuition is available on all Opentrack Days and one of our tutors is Mike Wilds who had Raced in F1 and Le-Mans 8 times  this year he is contracted to race for Mazda and all round he is a good guy.:#1:

Mark Woodhead is the other tutor and Mark loves any thing with wheels ( almost ) and he has over 11 years race and track tuition behind him. Both Mark and Mike are grade "A" ards Tutors.

Also Photography and snacks and drinks are free on the day as well. garages are free as well on our days however at cadwell they don't have then  .

The cost of the day to 350Z forum members is just £139.00 for a car and driver. which is the same as some companies were charging for a March Day ! :scare:

To get the discount just follow these steps.

    go to : http://www.opentrack.co.uk

    go to : Private Area

password: You will need to contact a member of www.350z-uk.com team to obtain the password

Hopefully i will catch a few of you there.

Just so you know there will be no Caterhams that are racing this year on any opentrack days as i have banned them from the days .:drunk:

Any questions feel free to get intouch anytime up till 20.00 Hrs in the evening as i have to put the little ones to bed then

  2. Went to see Roger waters perform "The Wall" on Tuesday night and have to say it was one of the best nights i have ever had just the best.

The Wall as such was brought right upto date with references to Iraq and modern issues etc but it was just superb.

If you like Waters or Floyd and have not sen it i would say it is never to late it was just stunning tickets are still around for Birmingham in a few weeks !

Very sorry if anyone had had this message it is from the "Opentrack track Days" page first time ever

    Very Sorry again.

  4. Do you only do OPL days? They can be a bit off-putting for novices.

Yes, in a word this is done so you can go out when you want and not forced out in time slots. When everyone has to go out thus making the track sessions always full.

Also we do offer "free tuition' led by Mike Wilds and he and his team are there all day to help you make the most of your time there.

Also you have the advantage on a OPl day that if there are any stoppages for any reason you do not lose a whole session of your time.

However each to there own

  5. Evening all.

Just a quick note to you all. To let you know we have now introduced a sliding scale booking system for our Track Day at Anglesey on Friday 6th August.

Yes it may seam along way off but it will be here soon enough. As usual we will be having all the stuff some other company’s charge for. Like Photography,Tuition,Snacks & Drinks included in the price.

The price starts at £75.00 then will go up in stages until we get to the normal cost of the day that is £225.00

So the sooner you book the better the price you get, if you find yourself unable to make it on the day the place is free to transfer to another person incurring no cost.

Hopefully some of you will be able to join us on this LOUD 108 Db OPL day in the summer. More information is on our site at www.opentrack.co.uk

    Regards

    Dave.

  6. Good evening one and all.

I did say in my intro thread that i run a track day company and that people here on 350z.com would get discounted days.

Anyway with the next two events we have booked we have slashed the prices right down so there is no discount ( sorry ) However the cost of each day is just £75.00 that is for a Open Pit Lane day, with free Garages , Free Photography and also free tuition if you request it by mike wilds ( http://www.mikewilds.com ) he is one of the Uk's finest tutors / racers.

The day's will not be "rammed" with any tom, dick, and harry but will fun. you can see the typr of cars/ people that go on our days by looking at the gallery on our site.which is http://www.opentrack.co.uk or if you fancy watching a video ( short ) of what was at Oulton Park here is the link to the video .

any questions please fire away ...... we are also members of "The Association Of Track Day Organisers"

Bedford Gt is on 19th Feb and Cadwell park is 11th March

:drive1 Mod's ...... i hope this post is ok with you chaps ? as it is a Cheep but very good offer for your people.

  7. Ok my second post on here ever :D i mentioned in my welcome post that i took a 350z over to Pappenburg test track so here are some pic's i took of the car on the track. i will dig out some 'tasty' engine shots tomorrow when i find them. hope you like .

It was a great car but a bugger to get on and off the ferry, also when 'Pushing on' down the Autobahn in Germany it was so low the front spoiler would ground out :scare:

I was in the uk plated car the other car is the Bistein development car.

  8. Hello and Evening.

Just a quick post to say hi as you may gather from my forum name my name is Dave :) the Opentrack bit is a Track Day company ( http://www.opentrack.co.uk ) that i run with a friend called Phil also we are members of the ATDO. Basically i am a freelance Car Photographer and have been for several years shooting for almost anyone from Max Power to Mini Magazine. We decided to start running days two years ago and are a small and friendly bunch. The whole idea behind our days is everything is included from tuition from a Ex-f1 driver to the snacks and drinks on the day, along with free photography and Garages. We both got fed up of going on days and then having to pay for everything else on top, so we started our own company.

Ok now to the sad part ........i dont' have a 350z :byebye: However when the costs drop a little i will be turning one in to a dedicated track car, i have been out in a few i done the bowl at Pappenburg in a nismo 350z and also went over to California to do a story about the Stillen 350z with a Supercharger  That was a great car, so all in all one day i will get one .

We have set up a "private section" on our website where you can go to get a discount on the events we run the pass word to access it is

opentrack09 this will get you into the discounted section of the site.

Anyway look forward to being in here for a while any questions feel free to ask as i am more than happy to help.

    Regards

    Dave :drunk:
